第十三届非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班及学术会议

The Summer School of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations (SSNPDE) is celebrating its twelfth anniversary. First held in 2002, SSNPDE was proposed by Prof. Zhouping Xin and held by several universities, such as Capital Normal University, Northwest University, Central China Normal University, Wuhan University and Sun Yat-Sen University, etc. SSNPDE brings together participants from across the spectrum of the nonlinear partial differential equations community for a four-week program in a host university. It combines high-quality lectures and seminars with activities and events designed to bridge the gap between a general graduate education in mathematics and the specific preparation necessary to do research on problems of current interest. The more than 100 participants across the SSNPDE include graduate students and faculty, postdoctoral scholars and some of the world’s leading researchers in nonlinear PDEs. . The 13th SSNPDE will be held July 10- August 10 at Central China Normal University, Wuhan. The main activity this year will be four intensive short lectures together with a research workshop. The list of the lectures is as follows: “Free boundary problems of compressible flows”, “Asymptotic behavior of blow-up solutions for nonlinear elliptic equations”, “Peak solution of noncompact elliptic problems” and “Series topics on Boltzmann equations”. The organizers envision a strong interaction between the research workshop and the graduate series lectures and thus encourage participants in each program to actively participate in as many of each program’s activities as desired.

为了提高国内研究生和年轻教师的业务水平和科研能力,给研究生和青年教师提供学习、 交流和了解国内外关于非线性偏微分方程最新研究动态的机会,由香港中文大学数学研究所辛周平教授倡导和组织,首都师范大学、西北大学、华中师范大学、武汉大学和中山大学等10多所学校联合主办的“非线性偏微分方程暑假讲习班”已历时12届了。每次参加讲习班学习的研究生和青年教师达100多人,同时也有很多知名专家、学者应邀来讲习班作了精彩的学术报告 。第13届“非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班和学术会议”将于2015年7月10日至8月10日在华中师范大学举办。这次讲习班的主要内容为:“可压缩流中的自由边值问题”、“非线性椭圆方程爆破解的渐近行为” 、“非紧椭圆问题及其峰值解”和“Boltzman 方程系列讲座”。在此期间我们还将组织一次学术研讨会并邀请国内外一些知名专家和学者参与学术会议并就大家关心的热点问题展开学术讨论。

为了提高国内研究生和年轻教师的业务水平和科研能力,给研究生和青年教师提供学习、 交流和了解国内外关于非线性偏微分方程最新研究动态的机会,由香港中文大学数学研究所辛周平教授倡导和组织,首都师范大学、西北大学、华中师范大学、武汉大学和中山大学等10多所学校联合主办的第13届“非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班和学术会议”于2015年7月10日至8月5日在华中师范大学举办。这次讲习班的主要内容为:“可压缩流中的自由边值问题”、“非线性椭圆方程爆破解的渐近行为” 、“非紧椭圆问题及其峰值解”和“Boltzman 方程系列讲座”。分别来于美国、澳大利亚、香港等国家和地区的知名专家为暑期学校主讲了四门课程，参加讲习班的学员170多人。在此期间我们还组织了一次学术研讨会并邀请国内外一些知名专家和学者参与学术会议并就大家关心的热点问题展开学术讨论。参加学术会议的专家学者共140多人 ，有20多位来自美国、澳大利亚、新加坡、芬兰、香港、台湾以及中国大陆的国际知名学者应邀在会上作了特邀报告。
