第十五届非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班暨学术会议

The Summer School of Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations (SSNPDE) is celebrating its twelfth anniversary. First held in 2002, SSNPDE was proposed by Prof. Zhouping Xin and held by several universities, such as Capital Normal University, Central China Normal University, Wuhan University and Sun Yat-Sen University, etc. SSNPDE brings together participants from across the spectrum of the nonlinear partial differential equations community for a four-week program in a host university. It combines high-quality lectures and seminars with activities and events designed to bridge the gap between a general graduate education in mathematics and the specific preparation necessary to do research on problems of current interest. The more than 150 participants across the SSNPDE include graduate students and faculty, postdoctoral scholars and some of the world’s leading researchers in nonlinear PDEs..The 15th SSNPDE will be held July 10-August 3，2017 at Northwest Universtiy, Xi’an. The main activity this year will be four intensive short lectures together with a research workshop. The list of the lectures is as follows: “shallow water equations”, “Monge-Ampere equations and their models”, “Euler equations” and “Some topics on harmonic maps”. The organizers envision a strong interaction between the research workshop and the graduate series lectures and thus encourage participants in each program to actively participate in as many of each program’s activities as desired.

为了提高国内研究生和年轻教师的业务水平和科研能力，给研究生和青年教师提供学习、交流和了解国内外关于非线性偏微分方程最新研究动态的机会，由香港中文大学数学科学研究所辛周平教授倡导和组织，首都师范大学、华中师范大学、武汉大学和中山大学等10多 所学校联合主办的“非线性偏微分方程暑假讲习班”已历时14届了。每次参加讲习班学习的研 究生和青年教师达150多人，同时也有很多知名专家、学者应邀来讲习班作了精彩的学术报告。第15届“非线性偏微分方程暑期讲习班和学术会议”将于2017年7月10日至8月3日在西北大学举办。这次讲习班的主要内容为:“浅水波方程，调和映照若干专题，Monge-Ampere方程及其应用，欧拉方程系列讲座”。在此期间我们还将组织一次学术研讨会并邀请国内外一些知名专家和学者参与学术会议并就大家关心的热点问题展开学术讨论。
