西部高校数学教师暑期学校

The project aims to offer a 21-days training to more than 90 college teachers who are from the 12 west provinces, cities, and municipalities. The main content of the training is divided into two directions: geometry and differential equation. We will invite the experts home and abroad from these two directions to run a workshop on the teaching of mathematics major basic courses and give professional lectures and academic reports on professional basic course and cutting-edge research. The successful implementation of the project will promote the mathematics research, teaching reform of the professional mathematics teachers and also have a positive effect on broadening the knowledge of the teachers. Especially it is significantly important in training innovative talent teachers and promoting the development of higher education in the west-China.

项目拟对来自西部12省、市、自治区的90余名高校数学教师进行为期21天的培训。培训的主要内容分为2个方向：几何、微分方程，邀请国内外这2个方向的专家对学员开展专业基础课程教学培训，就研究前沿开设专题讲座和学术报告。该项目的顺利实施，对推进西部高校数学类相关专业基础课教师的教学改革、科学研究，拓宽西部数学教师的知识面有积极作用。特别是在培养创新型数学人才、促进西部高等教育事业的发展等方面具有重要的现实意义。
