In the 1990s R J House proposed Value Based Leadership (VBL) through integration of past leadership theories. In order to follow up the research frontier and introduce new idea into Chinese business management practice, we carried out the research under the support of NSFC, the topic is < Study of Chinese CEOs: A Value-Based Leadership Approach >(No.79970009).Within the last 3 years, our research work was carried out based upon the practice of 98 Chinese companies. Our research methods include: questionnaire investigation, motive coding, mathematics analysis, case analysis, and theory exploration..In these research works, our main contributions are: 1:We have understood the way of western management research, and accumulated enough research experiences.2: We propagated VBL broadly which may help to strengthen business competence3:Our broad propagation added glories to NSFC.4: Our Research conclusionsOur research reached the same conclusions as abroad scholars did. 本项研究主要是通过对我国企业高层领导进行访谈和问卷调查,并对访谈内容进行量化处理在研究、吸收并发展国外最新的基于价值的领导学理论的基础上,提出适应我国文化背景的基于价值的领导学理论,从而为我国企业文化、组织行为等研究发展提供理论基础。由于此研究按照豪斯教授主持的全球领导项目设计,故亦能供跨文化对照比较,促进国际交流。..
