中国工业与应用数学学会第十二届年会

The School of Mathematical Science, University of Science and Technology of China, applies to host the 12th Annual Confernece of China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM). The 12th Annual Confernece of CSIAM will held on Aug 19th--Aug 24th, 2012. This confernece will highlight the most recent advances in the discipline and demonstrate their applicability to science, engineering and industry. In addition to the traditional, strong focus on applied mathematics, the congress will emphasize industrial applications and computational science in new and emerging topic areas. The activity of this conference will be in the mode of the International Conference of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM). Key features of this conference include invited speakers, Thematic minisymposia, Parallel and poster sessions and round table. Moroever, this conference will also have awarding ceremony of the 4th CSIAM Su Buchin Prize.

中国科学技术大学数学科学学院申请于2012年8月19日至8月24日承办中国工业与应用数学学会第十二届年会。本届年会旨在交流应用数学的研究成果，并结合工业产业中急需解决的关键问题和难点问题，展开广泛的学术交流和讨论。本次大会的学术活动将按照国际工业与应用数学大会的模式开展。本次大会的学术活动除了大会报告外，还广泛征集小讨论会（Minisymposium）、分组报告会（Section Talks）和圆桌会议（Round table）。此外，本次大会还将颁发第四届“CSIAM苏步青应用数学奖”，旨在奖励在数学对经济、科技及社会发展的应用方面作出杰出贡献的工业与应用数学工作者。

2012年8月19日至22日，由中国科学技术大学数学科学学院承办的第十二届中国工业与应用数学大会在安徽合肥成功举行。本次大会按照国际工业与应用数学大会的模式开展。大会聚集了来自全国各地125所单位的300多位专家学者与会，其中包括6位中国科学院院士，是中国工业与应用数学学会有史以来规模最大、与会人员最多的盛会之一。 本次会议会员代表大会成功选举了第六届理事会、常务理事会以及理事会领导。.. 大会围绕“中国工业与应用数学实质发展”的主题，以多种形式进行了广泛的交流研讨，并颁发了第四届CSIAM苏步青应用数学奖与优秀青年学者奖。本届苏步青应用数学奖获得者姜礼尚教授、崔俊芝院士作了获奖报告、6位受邀嘉宾作了大会特邀报告，4位优秀青年学者奖获得者也做了精彩的学术报告。会议还听取了四场分组报告(Session Talks）与十二场小型专题研讨会（Minisymposium）的127位专家的报告，举行了具有特色的圆桌会议 （Round table）。大会达到了相互交流思想与促进数学在工业中应用的宗旨。
