This report include the main topics that have been researched in the project, concerning mechanisms of interactions between debris flows and the main stream they converge.and the geomorphologic revolution of rivers in mountains. Types of the junction have been identified on basis of field observation and reconnaissance; systematic measures have been carried out on the junction of Jiangjiagou-Xiaojiang in Yunnan, which is the prototype of our researches. Evolution features have been built up for the junction. More than 100 experiments of various.scales regarding interactions between debris flow and water, deposition of debris flow under water,as well as the dam formation and river block, have been conducted in the institutions and schools involved in the project, during which new method for measuring and analyzing have been developed, such as the system of 3D image analysis. Numerical methods, including 1D ~ 3D, have been extensively employed in modeling the interactions between debris flows and water in the.converging zone and all these models are qualitatively in agreement with the experiments.However, the quantitative satisfaction is only expected in the future researches.
本研究通过野外考察和模拟实验的方法,在研究泥石流与主河水动力作用过程基础上,揭示泥石流汇入主河时两种不同性质流体汇流的动力作用过程和机理,入汇口附近水沙交互作用与主河水沙特征的变化规律,泥石流输沙对山区河流河床演变的动力地貌机制;确定泥石流堵江的临界条件;提出泥石流地区工程病害防治和河谷地土地利用模式。
