汉语发展性阅读障碍的视觉大细胞通路功能研究

Developmental dyslexia (DD) is a kind of specific learning disorder caused by neurobiological factors. Children with dyslexia have deficits in reading despite their normal intelligence. The hypothesis of visual magnocellular deficits is one of the theories focusing on the etiology of dyslexia, and it has been tested by many alphabetic researches. Different from DDs in alphabetic languages, orthographic processing skill deficits is one of the main deficits of Chinese dyslexics instead of phonological deficits. Considering that orthographic processing skills is closely connected with visual magnocellular processing, then how about the ability of visual magnocellular processing in Chinese children with developmental dyslexia? The present project aims to investigate the functions of visual magnocellular stream in Chinese dyslexic children systemically by both behavioral and fMRI techniques. The results will enrich the researches of the impairments of Chinese dyslexia, and supply the evidence of the linguistic specificity for developmental dyslexia.

发展性阅读障碍（Developmental dyslexia）是一种由神经生物学原因引起的特殊的学习障碍，这类儿童在智力正常情况下表现出阅读水平显著低于同龄儿童。视觉大细胞通路缺陷理论是解释发展性阅读障碍发生根源的理论之一，在拼音文字中得到了很多实验的检验，是目前发展性阅读障碍研究领域的一个热点。与拼音文字不同，汉语发展性阅读障碍的主要缺陷不是语音缺陷，而正字法加工技能缺陷起着很重要的作用。已有研究表明，正字法加工技能与视觉大细胞通路的加工紧密相连，那么，汉语发展性阅读障碍儿童的视觉大细胞通路的加工能力如何呢？本项目拟从行为和脑神经机制两方面系统探查汉语发展性阅读障碍儿童的视觉大细胞通路（包括皮层下以及大脑皮层）的功能。此项目的研究可以丰富汉语发展性阅读障碍的缺陷机制的研究内容，同时，为发展性阅读障碍的缺陷的语种特异性问题提供来自汉语的证据。

视觉大细胞通路缺陷理论是基于一般感知觉的对发展性阅读障碍的缺陷机制的阐释。发展性阅读障碍的缺陷表现不仅仅局限在语言层面，对其一般感知觉缺陷的探查，有助于更深入地理解其作用机理。结合行为和脑电、脑成像技术，理解阅读障碍儿童语言背后的缺陷机制，有助于干预训练，提高其阅读水平。本项目系统地探查了大细胞通路功能与发展性阅读障碍之间的关系，为深入理解其缺陷的产生机制打下了基础。研究发现：1）视觉大细胞通路功能与汉语阅读相关技能有关，而且对于不同阅读水平的群体（儿童和成人），视觉大细胞通路功能和不同的汉语阅读技能相关；2）无论是时间频率和空间频率上，汉语发展性阅读障碍儿童都存在视觉大细胞通路功能缺陷；3）基于视觉大细胞通路功能的视觉训练可以提升阅读技能；4）视觉大细胞通路有可能通过整字加工作用于汉语阅读。这些研究结果虽然由于某些原因，比如被试数量少、干预之后没有长时间的追踪等，还有待于进一步检验和完善，但是，已经初步显示其应用前景了。
