Energy efficiency and network lifetime elongation has always been a hot research issue for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs).In traditonal WSNs, sink node position is fixed and this will cause much shortened lifetime, since sensor nodes close to sink will have more traffic to fordward and they will deplete their energy more quicky and become hot spot nodes. The adoption of mobile sink technique can dynamically change the distribution of hot spot nodes, while its main shortcoming is increased delay during data collection phase.This research mainly explores the joint optimization techniques of multiple mobile sinks and routing, which can not only decrease delay, but also further improve network performance. The following three specific aspects are included: (1)we will comprehensively study the influence of multiple mobile sinks' parameters on network perfromance based on our extensive simulation and experiments; (2)we will study the joint optimization problems of multiple mobile sinks such as energy consumption and delay, energy consumption and route selection, energy consumption and throughput etc.with some restrictive conditions; (3)we will study joint optimization problem when multiple sink nodes can move adaptively.This research work can be applied not only to some ordinary delay-tolerant WSNs, but also to some applications like forest,underground mine and battlefield with restrictive conditions. This research can promote some practical applications of WSNs such as multiple mobile sinks deployment strategies, mobility path(s) selection and joint optimization with routing metrics etc.
节能和延长网络寿命一直是无线传感网中的研究热点问题。传统网络由于汇聚节点固定不变,其周围节点要承担更多转发任务而导致能量消耗过快,成为热节点而降低网络寿命。采用移动汇聚节点技术可以动态改变热节点分布,从而延长网络寿命。目前这方面研究大部分还是集中在单移动汇聚节点上,而它的不足是会导致数据搜集延时增加。本课题主要研究多移动汇聚节点和路由联合优化技术,它不仅能降低延时,还能进一步提高网络性能。研究具体包括以下三个方面:(1)在大量仿真实验基础上,综合性的研究多移动汇聚节点各参数对网络性能的影响;(2)研究多约束条件下,基于多移动汇聚节点的耗能与延时、耗能与路径、耗能与吞吐量等的联合优化算法;(3)研究多汇聚节点自适应移动情况下的联合优化算法。本研究不仅适用于一般容迟传感网,也适用于森林、矿下、战场等带有约束条件的应用,能对实际应用中汇聚节点部署、路径选择、和路由的联合优化等起到一定的推动作用。
