竞争视角下中国对外直接投资空间演化及区位选择研究

With rapid expansion of outward direct investment (OFDI), China rose as world’s second largest investor, and moved to the captital-export driven stage of economic globalization. The outstanding achievement has attracted heated attention and discussion on China model of OFDI. This research aimed to develop an integrated framework at a macro scale to analyze the spatial evolution of China’s OFDI. First, a global investment network is built to investigate how China evolves in world’s capital market. By using community detection of network analysis, we reveal how China interaction with other economies on investing in the same market, and detect the clusters of affinitive investors which include China as well as China’s rivals. Based on that, panel models with spatial effect and competitive effect are built to further investigate how the factors such as economic background, institution environment and bilateral relations impact on the local choice of Chinese investors. Last, spatial models of China’s OFDI are refined, based on which we conduct a predictive analysis on future spatial change of China’s OFDI. This research results is helpful to improve understanding the uniqueness of China’s OFDI and provide policy references to optimize oversea investment as well.

在中国经济全球化进入资本输出带动期背景下，中国对外直接投资空间行为成为关注热点和争论焦点。本研究旨在弥补中国对外直接投资区位研究对宏观尺度的投资背景和投资竞争关系关注的不足：首先，以全球投资网络为背景分析中国对外直接投资空间演化过程；其次，在考虑本国与其他投资国竞争关系的基础上分析中国对外直接投资区位选择机制；再次，采用网络分析方法和空间计量分析方法，将母国、东道国和竞争国三方因素结合起来探讨经济基础、制度背景、政治经济关系等因素对中国对外直接投资空间格局的影响，透视中国对外直接投资空间行为的地方特殊性及其原因；最后，总结提炼中国对外直接投资空间演化模式，结合国际投资形势和国内政策预测未来中国对外直接投资空间格局变化趋势。本研究不仅有助于拓展发展中国家跨国投资分析范式、丰富“中国模式”研究内涵，还为我国企业和政府制定、落实对外合作战略布局提供理论指导和科学依据。

本研究基于2003-2018年间中国对外直接投资分地区投资规模数据、分地区分行业的中国跨国并购投资项目和绿地投资项目数据，以及其他国家相关经济、政治指标，分析中国对外直接投资的时空演化特征和区位选择。首先，采用定量拟合和定性政策结合的方法详细划分了中国对外直接发展阶段。其二，分别从投资规模角度分析不同时期中国对外直接投资空间扩张特征，并进一步从投资项目角度对能源资源类、设备制造类和金融服务类三大行业的对外直接投资空间扩张进行分析。第三，构建全球投资网络，采用社区发现算法分析中国在全球并购投资网络和绿地投资网络中的地位和投资空间邻近组团关系的演化特征。第四，采用空间面板模型，分析国际投资竞争效应、投资双方的经济基础、制度背景等因素对中国对外直接投资区位选择的影响。本研究进一步拓展了发展中国家跨国投资的区位选择理论分析框架，从宏观角度考虑了国际投资竞争效应；研究成果有助于企业和政府深入理解中国对外直接投资空间演化动因，对中国加快构建国内国际双循环、优化对外经贸投资格局具有重要意义。
