Traffic engineering is an important part of national economic and social development. Various practical traffic problems, such as traffic equilibrium programming, intelligent transportation management, flight operation and delay management, air traffic flow management etc., can be transformed into operation research (OR) and optimization problems, and thus OR and optimization play a vital role in the field of transportation, especially in the current Big Data Era. Actually, it is one of the important applications of OR and optimization to build appropriate models for traffic problems and develop effective and fast algorithms to solve these models.. In order to further promote the application research of Chinese OR scholars in the traffic-related fields, we plan to hold a three-week advanced Symposium at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics from July 10th 2019 to July 30th 2019 for graduate students and young scholars. Four experts will teach courses (totally 80 class hours) related to traffic operation research and optimization.
交通工程是国民经济和社会发展的一个重要组成部分。来源于交通领域的大量实际问题,如交通平衡规划、智能交通管理、航班运营与延误管理、空中交通流量管理等,均可转化成运筹与优化问题,因此运筹与优化在交通领域尤其是在当前大数据背景下的交通管理中起着至关重要的作用。对交通领域问题进行合理建模并设计有效而快速的求解算法是运筹与优化的重要应用之一。. 为进一步推动运筹与优化领域的青年教师和学生对交通相关问题的应用研究,申请者计划于2019年7月10日至2019年7月30日在南京航空航天大学举办为期3周的交通运筹与优化专题高级讲习班,四位专家讲授交通运筹与优化相关的课程共80学时。
