This project is devoted to the interdisciplinary research on pulse wave of tradition Chinese medicine (TCM) based on the nonlinear stress wave mechanism and holistic view of TCM. By combination of theoretical, experimental and numerical approach, as well as laboratory investigation and hospital clinical evidence, to reveal that the pulse phenomenon contains blood flow and the pulse wave which propagates in the blood and carries energy and holistic information, corresponding respectively to the blood and Qi in TCM (a new interpretation of Qi). Develop the pulse wave inverse analysis program, consequently determine the “constitutive relation of pulse wave system” (new concept) based on the inverse analysis of the correlated multipoint pulse waveform measurements, and then verify that the pulse waveform measured is only the external representation while the pulse constitutive relation (equivalent to the quantified TCM body constitution) is the intrinsic essence, where the latter determines the former. Redevelop the computational fluid dynamics program for applicable to pulse wave system, to explore the relation and characteristics of Qi-blood in TCM, and the influence of the nonlinearity and viscosity of the pulse constitutive relation on characteristics of pulse wave in different forms. Discover the quantitative correspondence between the quantified pulse wave and human health index. Different from those pulse wave research approach which only focus on specific arterial tube in modeling, as well as also different from those which only focus on individual and local pulse waveforms, this TCM holism study will create a new approach to the quantitative diagnosis of TCM and to improve the scientization, objectification and high-effectiveness of TCM. It will bring benefit to the research and development of TCM intelligent pulse diagnostic device, even TCM intelligent robot, and to the people all over the world.
本项目致力于中医脉搏波基于非线性应力波理论和中医整体观相结合的跨学科研究。通过实验、理论和数值模拟相结合,实验室探索和医院临床实证相结合,揭示脉搏现象包含血液的流动和在血液中传播的携带能量和人体整体信息的脉搏波,分别对应中医的血和气(气的新诠释);开发脉搏波反分析程序,由实测相关多点脉搏波波形的反分析,建立“脉搏波系统本构关系”(新概念),前者是表象,后者是决定前者的内质(量化的中医体质);开发适用于脉搏波的计算流体动力学程序,探究中医血气关系特征,以及本构关系非线性和黏性对不同形式脉搏波特征的影响;进而探索量化脉搏波与人体健康指数之间的对应关系。不同于目前那些只针对具体动脉管建模、及只关注个别形式脉搏波波形表象的脉搏波研究思路,本整体观研究将对中医定量化诊断病情和促进传统中医的客观化科学化创一条新路,具有重要意义;也将有助于研发智能化中医脉诊仪、乃至智能化中医机器人,造福我国和世界人民。
本项目致力于中医脉搏波基于非线性应力波理论和中医整体观相结合的跨学科研究。主要通过脉搏波信号的临床测试实验、基于应力波理论的脉搏波控制方程分析和血液-血管壁多场流固耦合数值模拟相结合,实验室探索和医院临床实证相结合,初步探究和揭示了脉搏现象是包含血液的流动和在血液中传播的携带能量和人体整体信息的脉搏波,而这两项分别对应于中医的血和气,并从数理角度对“气”给出了新诠释;初步开发了通过压力脉搏波、速度脉搏波进行求容积脉搏波的反分析程序,旨在整体理解脉搏波系统的非线性性。由临床实测三点脉搏波波形的反分析,初步建立了“脉搏波系统的本构关系”,并认为前者是表象,后者是决定前者的内质,即对应于中医理论上的量化的中医体质。应用Comsol MultiPhysics商用软件,增加了脉搏波系统的本构关系,初步开发了适用于脉搏波的计算流体动力学程序,探究中医血气关系特征,以及本构关系的非线性性和黏性对不同形式脉搏波特征的影响;以糖尿病和高血压病症为例,统计分析了近4000病例,初步探索量化了脉搏波与人体健康指数之间的对应关系。本项目不同于当前一些只针对具体动脉管建模,以及只关注个别形式脉搏波波形表象的脉搏波研究思路,本整体观的初步研究成果将对中医定量化诊断病情和促进传统中医的客观化科学化创一条新路,具有重要意义;也将有助于研发智能化中医脉诊仪、乃至智能化中医机器人,造福我国和世界人民。
