The purpose of the present study is to explore the interactive mechanism between knowledge innovation and the complex innovation networks. The structure and evolution of complex innovation networks and interactions of their elements have significant impact on innovation performances of innovative organizations. On the other hand, the knowledge innovation performances of innovative organizations are also increasingly important for the structure and evolution of complex innovation networks and interactions of their elements. An effective study for the interactive mechanism between knowledge innovation and the complex innovation networks, however, does not yet exist. ..Based on the theory of innovation dynamics and from perspectives of knowledge formations and knowledge discoveries, the study will investigate the impacts of the complex structure characteristcis and evolution of complex innovation networks, in particular scientific knowledge networks and technological knowledge networks, and complex interactions of their elements on knowledge innovation performances and knowledge innovation capability of innovative organizations. Then the study will reveal formation mechnism how different kinds of knowledges drive different types of innovation, such as exploratory innovations versus exploitative innovations and radical innovations versus incremental innovations. The study will simultaneously and systematicly explore how the knowledge innovation performances and knowledge innovation capability of innovative organizations affect the structure and evolution of complex innovation networks and interactions of their elements. The major characterisctics of nonlinearity, delay and feedback existed among knowledge flow, knowledge innovation processes and knowledge innovation outputs will be analysed and the bidirectional relationship between knowledge innovation and the complex innovation networks will be revealed. The contents and results from this project will be of great value to several different entities. First, the study will enrich the theories in innovation management and scientometrics. Second, the major factors that affect effciency of knowledge utilization and knowledge creation of innovative organizations will be revealed. Finally, this study will provide the policy implications and suggestions to knowledge management and innovation management practice for innovative organizations.
本研究的目的是对知识创新与复杂创新网络的互动机理进行研究。从创新动力学的基本理论出发,从知识的形成和发现角度,探索复杂创新网络、特别是科学知识网络和技术知识网络的复杂结构特征、演化规律与网络要素的复杂交互作用关系对知识创新绩效和创新型组织的知识创新能力的影响,揭示各类知识驱动各类创新(如探索性创新与利用性创新;突破性创新与渐进性创新等)形成的原理; 并系统性地同时探讨创新型组织的知识创新绩效和知识创新能力对创新型组织所处的复杂创新网络的结构特征、演化规律与网络要素的交互作用关系所产生的影响,分析知识流动与知识创新过程、知识创新结果的交互作用之间存在的非线性、延迟和反馈等不确定复杂现象,揭示知识创新与复杂创新网络的互动机理。研究内容与研究结果将丰富创新管理与科学计量学理论、揭示影响创新型组织知识利用与知识创造效率的主要因素,为我国创新型组织的知识管理与创新管理实践提供政策支持。
