The Popular Science Exhibition Hall of Dynamic Use of New Technologies in the Field of Information and Telecommunications is located on the first floor of the New Research Building at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) (Address: No.10, Xitucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing). Covering an area of more than 700 square meters, the exhibition hall is endowed with convenient traffic, well developed infrastructure, and public facilities..The exhibition hall will well demonstrate the advantages of BUPT as a specialized university in the research of Information and Telecommunications science. With its completion and opening to the public, the exhibition hall will greatly promote the healthy, sustainable and diversified development of science popularization. .The exhibited new technologies include the Internet of Things, applications of sensing, future networks, and future outlook, all of which have been sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) in the last three years. .Through interactive operations and experience, visitors will have a better understanding of some latest technologies in information and telecommunications, such as the Internet of things, etc. The permanent, semi permanent or temporary exhibition of technologies, including some real-time scrolling display of the latest technologies will turn the exhibition hall into a platform for the public to get in touch with the cutting-edge research progress of technologies in information and telecommunications..The exhibited items are advanced and representative in the industry of telecommunications, and they can push information and interact with people through mobile smart terminals. The main items include IPV6-based intelligent plant room, smart city, mobile asset management, smart furniture, low carbon smart buildings, next-generation enhanced emergency response system (Indoor high-accuracy positioning and navigation system), high speed and broadband 4G test system with outfield test network, IPV4/IPV6-based network management and video service system, etc.

北京邮电大学《信息通信动态新技术科普展厅》是一个以国家自然科学基金委员会项目为主要技术依托的动态新技术永久性展示场所。展厅位于北京市海淀区西土城路10号,北京邮电大学东门内200米处北邮新科研大楼一层西侧,面积700余平方米。展厅基本建设及公共配套设施齐备,交通便利。.本展厅的建设充分发挥了北京邮电大学为我国通信信息类专业高等院校的优势,专业性强,具备其知识的权威性。展厅将积极参与科学普及工作,推动科普事业健康、可持续、多元化发展。.展厅设计将充分体现:网络无所不在、智能无所不在、沟通无所不在的概念。展示内容的主题为:信息通信动态新技术科普知识。展示目标为:实现通信、信息新技术及相关新技术的操作及体验。.展区以4条技术主线和2处高智能区域串联,设有智能会议室区、智能机房区、智慧校园区、未来区、成果树区、智能家庭区、移动资产管理区、国重区、智能城市区等。主线设为:基于RFID的系列、基于4G/移动网络/WiFi的系列、基于智能楼宇的系列、基于图像处理的系列。高智能区域为:智能机房、感知会议室。参观者通过各展项的体验及交互式操作,完成通信、信息新技术的操作及体验。通过此永久或半永久及临时性的技术展示,做到新技术滚动实时展示,代表我国信息通信最新技术发展情况的对外展示窗口。.本展厅设计均采用“共性平台+应用子集”模式建立系统结构,并预留有实时动态新技术半永久区,能干将新技术随时扩充性接入系统的共性平台。.全部展项内容均具备行业先进性和示范性,并可采用移动智能终端进行交互和信息推送。展项共计20个。首期展项中9个高技术互动展项是以国家自然科学基金项目支持为依托设计,包括:数字城市展项、移动资产管理、智能家居、楼宇感知部署、新一代增强型应急联动系统(室内高精度定位导航系统)、4G无线新技术(4G高速宽带试验系统及外场试验网)、智能城市管理、可视信息智能感知(监控视频事件检测与分析)、智能机房、基于IPV4/IPV6的网络管理和视频服务系统。其它展项为:感知实验室、livinglab系统、可见光通信、脑电波疲劳检测系统等。
