Tianyuan Mathematical Center in Northeast China (TMCNE) was established in January 1, 2018 under the support of Tianyuan Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Following the guideline established by the Tianyuan Fund Committee, TMCNE strives to build an academic exchange and collaboration platform in computational mathematics and related areas. The activities of the center focus on interdisciplinary areas and areas of great national interest, with intend of benefitting the northeast region. Since January 2018, TMCNE has.sponsored and organized a series of academic workshops and short courses in computational mathematics and related areas. These activities provide great experiences for the center and enable the center to establish itself as an effective academic platform...In next few years, the center will continue to sponsor and organize academic activities in the emerging areas of computational mathematics, statistics, analysis and related field, under the the guideline of the Tianyuan Fund Committee. TMCNE plans to invite mathematicians around the world who are leading authorities in their research areas to the center, and use their collective wisdom to help the center build the first class academic exchange platform, and to reach the goal of raising the level of mathematical research in China, especially in the northeast region.
天元数学东北中心于2018年1月1日由国家自然基金委数学天元基金资助成立。中心依托吉林大学,联合东北22所院校共同建设。自成立以来,中心秉承基金委天元学术领导小组建设天元数学中心的宗旨和项目指南要求,着眼国家重大需求,立足东北大区域,强调学科交叉性,着力打造侧重计算数学的学术交流与研究平台。自2018 年1月起,中心围绕计算数学、分析学和统计学举办了一系列研讨会、短课程和专题讲座。中心平台建设已形成自己的特色并初具成效。..在未来的若干年里,中心将继续遵循项目指南,围绕计算数学、分析学和统计学的前沿领域和国家重大战略需求,凝聚国内外一流数学家的集体智慧,努力促进数学与其它学科以及数学学科之间的交叉融合,将天元数学东北中心打造成侧重计算数学的国际一流学术交流平台,培养更多复合型、高素质的数学后备人才,为中国数学,特别是东北地区数学整体水平的提升发挥重要作用。
