2013年全国统计优化专题讲习班

Statistics in China has become a popular discipline since 2011, and 2013 is the international year of statistics. Due to the existence of the optimization problems in statistics, statistical optimization is considered to be the most active field of interdisciplinary research in both statistics and optimization, and it has important academic significance and great application prospects. In order to train graduate students and young teachers in both statistics and optimization, to guide them into advanced research, the Brand of Mathematical Programming at Operations Research Society of China has decided and held “The 2013 Workshop on Statistical Optimization” at the Foundational and Interdisciplinary Science Institute, Beijing Jiaotong University, from 2th to 22th June, 2013. The contents contain basic courses《Multivariate Statistical Analysis》,《Constrained Statistical Inference and Optimization》 and 《Methods for Statistical Optimization》, and seminars about “Big Data Mining and Optimization”. About 40 graduate students and young teachers are free board and lodging. Teachers for basic courses and seminars are from excellent Chinese university experts and overseas researchers.

2011年统计学提升为一级学科，2013年为国际统计年。因统计学中存在着大量的最优化问题，统计优化被认为是国际统计学和最优化学科中当前最为活跃和发展空间的交叉研究领域,具有极为重要的学术意义和十分广泛的应用前景。为了培养我国统计学和最优化交叉学科的研究生和青年教师，引导他们进入前沿研究，中国运筹学会数学规划分会拟定于2013年6月2-22日在北京交通大学基础与交叉科学研究院举办“2013年全国统计优化专题讲习班”。基础课有《多元统计分析》、《有条件约束的统计推断与优化》、《统计优化计算方法》，专题讲座围绕“大数据挖掘与最优化”。招生人数至多40名，免食宿，结业考试。基础课教师和前沿讲座教师为国内专家和优秀海外留学人员。

2013全国统计优化高级讲习班暨国际研讨会于2013年6月6—12日在北京交通大学举行。讲习班学员包括来自北京、天津、上海、河北、河南、山东、广东等全国60多所高校的博士生、讲师、副教授及教授等120余人。专题讲习班为期5天,国际研讨会为期2天。..2013年6月6—10日，2013年全国统计优化高级讲习班在北京交通大学思源楼举办。课程内容以统计与优化为核心，包括《多元统计分析》、《有条件约束统计推断与优化》、《统计优化计算与软件》。..6月11-12日，2013年统计优化国际研讨会（ICOS2013）在北京交通大学机械工程楼会议中心召开。会议以统计优化为方向，旨在探讨统计优化这一交叉学科的研究与发展方向。
