Multi stream video coding is a key technology of future high dimensional video communications. Intensive studies have been done for multi stream video compression theory in this project. Different data structures were investigated individually according to the input video types; multi stream versus mono stream compatible coding methods and data structures were studied subject to the possible realization technologies. The project finished the fast registrations between multi video streams; resulted a MPEG-4 compatible multi stream coding algorithm; gave out for the first time a texture and MAC information combined bit rate control scheme; and provided depth/disparity based fast object segmentation methods. The discussion was also made for the impaction to the future 3Dvideo communications because of the direct 3Dvideo input.
多数据流视频编码是未来多维视频通信产业的核心技术。本项目将对多数据的数据压缩理论进行深入讨论,研究以压缩为基本目的的编码算法。在此基础上,进一步研究多数据流的信息表述形式,从信息提取的角度探讨多数据流信号获取的方式。这些研究结果对工业产品结构有指导意义,在理论上,如何解决多数据流信号之间信息相关注册等有相当难度。
