We propose to organize a Tianyuan Summer School in "Singular Spaces, Foliations and Groupoids". The objective of this school is to bring together different mathematicians working on various aspects of Lie groupoids in relation with foliations and singular spaces and their applications in order to offer students a broad panorama of the techniques and problems encountered. Classes will be held in the mornings. The introductory courses will introduce groupoids and their Lie theory, their C*-algebras as well as some geometric structures. The advanced.courses will be an opportunity to discover the different areas that involve groupoids in relation to the study of geometric objects. The afternoons will be devoted to interactive activities in the form of Questions to the lecturers and Preparation and solution of exercises which are.described below. Finally, we will propose to the more advanced students to present their work during research presentation sessions...We believe that in order to guarantee the quality of the teaching-learning activity, it is important to keep this Summer School off-line. Due to the current pandemic situation, it might be postponed to a later date.
我们计划在2022年7月组织一次国际性的泛函分析专题讲习班,主题是“奇性空间,叶状结构和群胚”。目的是把和叶状结构及奇性空间相关的Lie群胚及其应用有联系的不同领域的数学家聚集到一起,以便让学员能够全景式地看到相关的问题和适用的技术. 计划每天上午授课,在介绍性的初级课程中会引进群胚及其Lie理论,它们的C*-代数和一些几何对象. 在更高级的课程中,学员们会看到在对于几何对象的研究中会自然地出现群胚这样的对象。下午会组织安排答疑,并让学员分组做练习。我们也会提供机会,让参会的青年教师有机会展示他们的科研成果。..我们坚持认为,这样一个专题讲习班在线下进行才能保证教学质量。受疫情影响,该项活动可能会延期举行。
本次暑期学校活动受疫情影响,于2022年初决定推迟到2023年暑期进行,进而在2023年10-11月间,在看不到防控措施有松动可能的情况下被迫取消。目前正在与相关学者讨论在2024年暑期开展本次活动的可能性。
