The Tianyuan Mathematics special symposium is a three-week course, which is from July 20th to August 7th, 2020. It is a special training course for graduate students, post-doctors, young teachers and other researchers, and help them to understand nonlinear functional analysis and its applications. We will invite 10 famous experts in the field of nonlinear functional analysis and partial differential equations to give us detailed and systematic lessons of fundamental theories of nonlinear functional analysis and their applications in differential equations with the latest research methods, which include: basic courses of nonlinear functional analysis and its applications and variational methods and their applications; special courses of minimax methods and applications, Morse theory and index theory and their applications in partial differential equations; one of hot topics in international research--Einstein equations in general relativity, its introduction and research progress. By the special symposium, we aim to guide graduate students and young researchers into grasp the knowledge, methods, skills and research hotspots of the theory in nonlinear functional analysis and its application fields as soon as possible, and enter the frontier of disciplines, so as to cultivate young talents, promote academic exchanges and enhance the ability of mathematical innovation.
本次天元数学专题讲习班计划从2020年7月20日至8月7日共计3周的时间,是面向研究生、博士后、青年教师以及相关研究人员的一次非线性泛函分析及其应用的学习培训班. 我们将邀请10位著名的非线性泛函分析和偏微分方程领域的专家为我们详细、系统地讲解非线性泛函分析特别是变分方法的基本理论和在微分方程中的应用以及最新研究方法. 包括:非线性泛函分析及其应用的基础课程;极小极大方法及其应用、Morse理论和指标理论及其在偏微分方程中应用的专题课程;国际研究热点广义相对论中的Einstein方程简介及研究进展报告等. 通过本次专题讲习班的学习,使研究生和青年学者尽快地掌握非线性泛函分析理论及其应用领域的知识、方法、技能和研究热点,进入学科前沿,达到培养青年人才,促进学术交流,提升数学创新能力的目的.
