近代武汉城市形态与建筑的现代转型及其轨迹与动因研究

This project would explore the critical issues of Chinese Modern Architecture by way of an indepth case study. This item plans to investigate and research the urban form, buildings, Architectural trends and building industry system, seeks the trace of historical evoluation and morden transformation, expounds the development proceedings of Wuhan and even China modern architecture form the point of the scientificity and modernity. The researh should place the architects, buildings and their construction in the system of modern building industry, explore the relationship between the transformation of urban form and building and social formation, organization, city's will, building codes and regulations. The project aims to reveal the external environment, intrinsic impetus of the transformation and their modes. This research should pay attention to the diversity and occasionality of the influence factors of architectural cultural transmission, and research the microstructure and mini-progress of modern architecture from the view of the diversification of event-person. The result sould contribute to interprete the impetus and its mechanism for the transformation of modern cities and buildings, and to reveal the characteristics and regular pattern of the development of China modern architecture. The historical experience of modern transformation should also be significant to the globle impact confronted by Chinese architecture nowadays.

本项目通过一地之近代城市和建筑的深入研究来探讨中国近代建筑的关键问题。拟对近代武汉城市形态、建筑作品、思潮及建筑工业体系等进行系统调查研究，探究其历史演变和现代转型的轨迹，从科学性和现代性的视角阐释武汉乃至中国近代建筑的发展历程。项目将近代武汉的建筑师、作品及营造等置于近代建筑工业体系中进行研究，并通过还原历史图景，探讨城市形态演变、建筑转型与社会形态、组织结构、城市意志、建筑制度等方面的关联，揭示其发展的外部环境、内在动力及其模式选择。研究重视建筑文化传播中影响因素的多样性或偶然性，从"事件-人物"多样化角度进行微观结构与小进程研究，揭示在建筑风格分类研究被简化了的现象及背后近代建筑发展的复杂性和多样性。本项目对阐明近代城市与建筑转型的动因及其作用机制、以及揭示中国近代建筑发展的特点和历史规律有重要意义，同时近代建筑现代转型的历史经验对今天中国建筑面临的"全球化冲击"也将具有借鉴意义。
