特大城市职住平衡与交通相互作用的时空特征及其机制研究：以北京为例

The relationship between jobs-housing balance and urban transportation is one of core theories in the field of urban geography. This research firstly reviews the existing literature about the relationship between jobs-housing balance and urban transportation, and identifies research gaps. After then, the research investigates the features of jobs-housing balance, urban transportation and the links between jobs-housing balance and urban transportation from a spatial-temporal view at both aggregated level and disaggregated level. Traffic zone is used as the primary analysis unit at the aggregated level, and individual travelers’ commuting is addressed at the disaggregated level. This research applies a comprehensive research approach which integrates quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and spatial-temporal analysis. Detailed analyses are conducted in the research regarding the critical assessment of the existing findings and conclusions on the relationship between jobs-housing balance and urban transportation; the measurements of jobs-housing balance and urban transportation; the spatial-temporal analysis of the connections between jobs-housing balance and urban commuting; and the factors influencing the connections and the theoretical explanations to the effects of these factors. In particular, the institutional and cultural factors in the relationship between jobs-housing balance and urban commuting are addressed in the context of Beijing, such as housing policy, land use policy, residential registration system, residential location related schooling and education policy, and so on. Most of these factors are unique in China’s cities. These factors make jobs-housing balance and its links with urban commuting in China’s cities different with cities in Western countries. The findings in the research contribute to the existing literature and enhance our knowledge of the connections between jobs-housing balance and urban commuting. The conclusion of the research would help to develop a Chinese-characterized theory framework of the relationship between jobs-housing balance and urban transportation. The results of the analyses in the research also suggest the role of jobs-housing balance policy in transport congestion relief in China’s megacities .

城市职住平衡与交通相互作用是城市地理学核心理论之一，本项目集中针对当前该领域在研究方法和机制理论解释等两方面关键不足，以北京为例，从居民个体的职住选址和通勤交通角度入手，采用定性研究、时空分析和定量分析相结合的方法，从2个维度（空间和时间维度）、2个层面（集计层面和非集体层面）对特大城市职住平衡与交通相互作用的时空特征及其机制从4个方面展开研究：职住平衡与交通相互作用理论研究梳理、职住平衡和交通时空测度、职住平衡与交通相互作用时空分析、职住平衡与交通相互作用机制深度解析，并从3个地域范围（全市区域、郊区/中心城区、职住集聚区）对比分析职住平衡与交通相互作用的地域差异性。本研究在多因素分析基础上，深入研究制度和社会文化等因素对职住平衡与交通相互作用的影响，对当前以市场机制为主的理论解释进行评价和批判，构建具有中国特色的职住平衡与交通相互作用理论框架，并为我国特大城市缓解交通拥堵提供决策依据。

项目计划以北京为例，研究特大城市职住平衡与交通相互作用的特征和机制。已按原计划执行，采用定性研究、时空分析和定量分析相结合的方法，从2个维度（空间和时间维度）、2个层面（集计层面和非集体层面）和4个方面（职住平衡与交通相互作用理论研究梳理、职住平衡测度、职住平衡与交通相互作用分析、职住平衡与交通相互作用的机制解析）展开研究。. 通过本项目研究，发现职住平衡与交通相互作用及其机制的中国特色规律；提出基于多源大数据的职住平衡测定方法；揭示职住平衡与交通相互作用的环境与社会影响；发现职住平衡与交通相互作用过程的干扰因素及其机制。四年内，项目成果共发表论文42篇，其中英文SSCI论文20篇，中文22篇，出版英文专著1部，其中14篇论文发表在国际SSCI/SCI交通类或城市研究类TOP10的期刊；已发表的项目成果论文的SSCI和SCI他引次数139次。. 本项目研究成果创新了职住平衡与交通相互作用理论，完善了地理学人地关系地域系统理论的核心内容，为构建中国特色职住平衡与交通相互作用理论提出了关键论点，为缓解交通问题、促进交通和城市可持续发展提供了新的、可靠的重要论据。研究成果已在国家发改委部门制定“环首都一小时生活圈规划”等决策中采纳应用。.通过本项目，同剑桥大学、牛津大学、曼切斯特大学等国外高校建立合作关系，共同举办国际研讨会、合作发表SCI论文等，一定程度上扩大我国在该领域研究的国际认可和学术影响；本项目负责人获得2019年国家杰出青年科学基金资助，通过本项目共培养博士后和研究生26名，其中，博士后1名，博士研究生8人，硕士研究生17人，为“双一流”学科地理学学科建设储备人才。
