Based on mathematical morphology and computer graphics theory, studying the uniform model and characteristics of morphological operations of graphics, by transferring morphological operations of graphics into vector operation on the general normal vector sphere, the main goal of this project is to establish a complete, uniform theory and algorithm of morphological operations, named "general morphological transformation theory", for all kinds of graphics. According to general morphological transformation theory, the motions of non-rigid body is decomposed into partial circumrotation of rigid body and metamorphose of non-rigid body, to solve the problem of morbid metamorphose of concave polygon and concave surface. This work establishes a set of theory and algorithm to describe and manage the motion and metamorphosis of non-rigid body, provide a new method to solve the nonlinear problems of computer graphics. The application includes 3D arbitrary object metamorphosis, Chinese font composition, rebuilding of 3D object, convex detection, model-oriented image coding, and so on. This method can also be used for VR, industry simulation, science computing visualization, computer animation, pattern recognition, and so on.
本项目将数学形态学与计算机图形学紧密结合,研究图形学中的形态算法统一模型及性质,以解决图形学中传统方法难以解决的非线性问题,通过形状的形态变换及凸分解来解决非刚性物体的运动与变形并应用与任意三维物体的变形,汉字字型的合成与衍生。为虚拟现实,工业模拟,计算机动画提供一个强有力的方法和工具。
