中国企业对外直接投资的“贸易效应”和“就业效应”

The outward direct investment of China increases rapidly in recent years. As we know the outward direct investment of firms means the manufacturing moving across the borders. What is the effect on trade and job market at home country? The project investigates the trade, fixed investment, scale and the employment of the firms after moving abroad especially in the changing of trade and employment at home. So we try to answer three questions. Firstly, what is the effect on export and import when the firm moves cross-border. Secondly, are they moving the jobs to host country when the firm invests other country. Thirdly, what are the mechanisms of theories contributing to the job market at home when the firm goes outside. Is there the effect of export, fixed investment or scale of economics? So this project researches the effect on Chinese industry by micro firms when the industry firms go outside. We try to find the theoretical mechanism and empirical evidence by that. After that our project can provide the theoretical and empirical guides for the government.

近年来中国企业对外直接投资大量增加。对外直接投资是企业生产和经营活动的跨国整合和布局。这对企业在母国的生产和经营活动有何影响？本课题就是针对该问题，观察中国企业“走出去”之后贸易结构、就业、固定投资和规模增长的变化，重点研究中国企业对外直接投资的“贸易效应”和“就业效应”，试图回答以下几个问题。第一，中国企业对外直接投资对企业贸易结构有何影响。第二，中国企业对外直接投资是否“转移”了企业在国内的就业。第三，中国企业对外直接投资的“就业效应”是通过什么理论机制引致的，“出口效应”、“投资替代”还是“规模经济”。通过上述研究，本课题试图阐明中国企业对外直接投资对企业的贸易结构、就业、固定投资和规模增长的影响，尝试从微观企业角度探究中国企业“走出去”对本国产业结构影响的微观机制。这为引导中国企业更稳健地“走出去”提供理论和经验基础。

随着经济增长和产业结构转型，中国企业对外直接投资大量增加。企业对外直接投资是生产、技术、产品和管理的跨国延伸。这对企业在母国的生产和经营活动有何影响？本课题针对该问题，基于倾向得分匹配和倍差法，利用中国工业企业数据，系统研究了中国企业对外直接投资的“贸易效应”和“就业效应”。主要得到以下几方面的结论。第一，中国企业“走出去”不仅促进了企业出口，也促进了从东道国进口。第二，中国企业“走出去”后促进了企业在国内的就业，而不是“转移”国内就业。特别在发达国家投资和商贸服务型投资对国内就业的促进作用更加明显。第三，“出口效应”、“固定投资”和“规模经济”等3个渠道引致了中国企业对外直接投资的“就业效应”。即，中国企业“走出去”后促进了国内的固定资产投资和发挥了规模经济，从而促进了企业在国内的就业。综上所述，本课题厘清了中国企业对外直接投资对企业的贸易效应、就业、固定投资和规模增长的影响。因此，本课题的科学意义在于启示中国政府和企业，现阶段中国企业的“走出去”不会引致国内产业的“空心化”。相反，中国企业的“走出去”促进了企业在国内的就业、固定资产投资和规模增长。
