Carbon sequestration effect of urban greenspace has been generally recognized and attention. However, man-made carbon emission during the process of the intensive construction and operation has not received enough attention, which influences carbon budgets accurately assessing and low carbon management of urban green space. We will select four types of greenspace (park, road belt, residential green, green buffer) in Guangzhou as study samples. Combing with field investigation, laboratory analysis and model simulation, the effects of different greenspace types on the carbon sequestration density & ratio and the carbon emission will be studied, which involves five aspects including vegetation and soil carbon sequestration, carbon emission during the process of the construction, operation and waste treatment. We'll clarify the characteristics and key influencing factors of the carbon budget for different types of greenspaces and reveal the direction and extent of management effects on total carbon budget. The lifecycle carbon footprint assessment model will be established finally. The study goals are to explore the carbon sequestration potential and ways of urban green space, and also provide scientific basis for the best low carbon design and management strategies.
城市绿地的固碳效应受到普遍关注,但高强度管护过程中的碳排放常被忽视, 直接影响城市绿地碳源汇的精确评估和低碳化管理。本研究拟选取广州分布数量最多的公园绿地、道路绿地、居住区绿地、防护绿地4 种类型,采用样方调查、实测分析、问卷访谈及模型模拟方法,围绕植被碳汇、土壤碳汇以及绿地建造、管理和处置过程中碳排放五个方面, 研究不同绿地类型固碳密度、固碳速率以及因绿地建设、管理和枯死木处置而产生碳排放特点,阐明不同城市绿地类型碳源汇特征及其主要影响因素,揭示管护措施(如建造、施肥、灌溉等)对城市绿地净固碳的影响方向和程度,建立城市绿地全生命周期碳足迹评估方法和模型,明确城市绿地固碳潜力和途径,为城市绿地最佳低碳化设计与管理提供科学依据。
城市绿地的固碳效应受到普遍关注,但高强度管护过程中的碳排放常被忽视,直接影响城市绿地碳源汇的精确评估和低碳化管理。本研究以广州市为例,选取广州分布数量最多的公园绿地、道路绿地、居住区绿地、防护绿地 4 种类型,采用样方调查、实测分析、问卷访谈及模型模拟方法,围绕植被碳汇、土壤碳汇以及绿地建造、管理和处置过程中碳排放五个方面,通过建立城市绿地碳足迹评估模型,评估和揭示城市绿地碳源、碳汇特征及其影响机制。研究结果表明,包括道路绿地和公园绿地在内的7个研究区的植被和土壤碳储量分别为-0.66~11.22kgC/m2和1.65~8.35 kgC/m2;建造施工阶段和管理养护阶段的碳排放量分别为0.63~1.78 kgC/m2和0.01~0.71kgC/ (m2·a)。绿地碳足迹等于绿地全生命周期中碳排放量减去碳储量,7个研究区的碳足迹为-2.63~1.99 kgC/m2。公园密植林区绿地均呈现碳汇特征,道路绿地大多呈现碳源特征,城市绿地的碳源汇特征随着绿地年龄的增加会有所改变。据此分析绿地规划设计对碳收支的影响程度,并提出科学的低碳化绿地管理和调控措施。
