国家天元数学东南中心

Since its establishment, Tianyuan Mathematical Center in Southeast China (TMSE) has always pursued the principle of high-quality and internationalization. Focusing on the topics including differential geometry, complex geometry and geometric analysis, algebra and algebraic geometry, partial differential equation and its numerical methods, discrete mathematics and optimization, TMSE has been organizing a variety of academic activities with a view to pooling high-caliber talents, cultivating young mathematicians and promoting international cooperation. Outstanding results have been achieved over the past year. ..TMSE will continue to organize academic activities on the main topics in 2021. All types of activities such as mini-course, workshop, seminar, summer school, Colloquium, Masters Lecture, Mathematician’s Lecture, visiting scholars, post doctor recruitment and so on will be organized. With the great support of Xiamen University,TMSE will make great strides in upgrading both software and hardware facilities and developing into a world-renowned platform for talent cultivation, joint research and academic cooperation, thus to make contribution to the development of mathematics in the southeastern region of China.

东南中心成立以来，秉承“高层次、高水准、国际化”的原则，针对数学及其应用领域中的“微分几何、复几何与几何分析”，“代数与代数几何、数论与表示论”，“偏微分方程理论与数值方法”，“离散数学与优化”等专题，举办系列学术活动，聚焦科学问题，凝聚研究队伍，培养青年学术骨干，深化国内外专家的合作，成效显著。东南中心将在2021年度继续针对四个主要研究领域开展系列学术活动。具体学术活动包括：短期课程，专题研讨会与专题讨论班，研究生暑期学校，访问合作研究项目，大师讲座、名家讲堂和Colloquium学术讲座，邀请访问学者，招收博士后。在厦门大学的大力支持下，进一步完善国家天元数学东南中心的软硬件建设，使之逐步发展为在国际上有重要影响，融合学术交流、科学研究和人才培养等功能的一流平台，为我国东南地区数学学科的发展做出贡献。

在2021年，在基金委天元数学基金学术领导小组的领导及中心学术委员会的具体指导下，东南中 心秉承了“高层次、高水准、国际化”的原则，针对若干专题，举办系列学术活动，聚焦科学问题， 凝聚研究队伍，培养青年学术骨干，深化国内外专家的合作。..中心针对数学及其应用领域中的“微分几何、复几何与几何分析 ”，“代数与代数几何、数论与表示论”、“偏微分方程理论与数值方法”、“离散数学与优化”等专题，开展了形式多样的系列学术活动，如短课程、专题研讨会与专题讨论班、访问合作研究项目、大师讲座、名家讲堂和Colloquium等学术讲座、招收博士后，实施东南地区高校青年教师提升计划和培训计划等，成效显著。
