A class of fluid network control systems will be studied in this project. Distributed modeling, estimation and control problems for such systems will be investigated systematically. First, the air distribution in heating and ventilating air-conditioning systems will be considered. Based on Aerodynamics, the flow dynamics can be approximated by a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. The fluid network dynamic systems will be modeled based on graph theory. A class of similar fluid network systems will be characterized and studied. A class of functions satisfying the conditions will be considered as the objectives to be investigated. Second, distributed estimator based on the nonlinearity of those functions as well as time-delay, packet dropouts problems in networked control systems will be designed. Last, based on the fusion information and distributed cooperative control algorithms, distributed controller for fluid network systems is designed. Aiming at reducing energy consumption of the system, the controller will be optimized based on the comparison of the energy consumption of the system under distributed cooperative controller and centralized controller. The problems to be studied are hot in control area which are of great importance from both theoretical and practical perspective.
本项目以一类流体网络控制系统为研究对象,旨在系统地研究其分布式建模、估计以及控制问题。首先以空调送风系统为出发点,以空气动力学为基础,用非线性常微分方程近似地描述流体流量动态,基于图论方法建立流体网络动态模型,并考虑同类流体网络系统,提取这类流体系统的特征,得到一类满足这些特征的抽象函数作为研究模型。然后针对这类流体模型的非线性特点以及网络系统延时、丢包的问题,设计分布式估计器。最后结合当今分布式协同控制算法,基于估计的数据,对流体网络系统设计分布式控制器。以降低系统能耗为目标,对比分析分布式协同算法下和传统中心式或独立式控制算法下系统能耗,对控制器参数进行优化。本项目的研究内容是当今控制领域热门的研究课题,具有重要的理论意义和现实意义。
本课题以空调送风系统为研究出发点,抽象出一系列网络流系统分布式建模、估计和控制问题,并结合当前分布式控制与估计的热门研究方法,对问题进行分步解决。首先对一类网络流系统进行抽象归纳、分析并建模。其次,针对网络固有的传输带宽限制、噪声等特点,解决一系列分布式估计问题。再次,运用分布式协同控制算法,对网络系统设计分布式控制策略。最后,本项目不仅局限于完成了控制设计,而且进一步研究了分布式优化算法,以优化一定性能指标为目的的分布式控制设计,可以实现优化系统能耗,优化控制器参数等目标。本项目的研究是当今控制领域热门的研究课题,为推动分布式算法理论研究和理论结合实际能够做出积极的贡献。
