广布种横纹南鳅及其同域分布相近种的分类研究

Schistura fasciolata s.l. is a small –sized bottom dwellers of water, widely distributed in the Yangtze River and river basins south of this river in South China, and northern Vietnam. The species is to date poorly understood taxonomically; its species diversity is underestimated, and its delineation with closely related sympatric species remains unclear. This proposed project aims to delineat this species and its closely related sympatric species by integrating morphological and molecular evidences, then determine the species boundary of S. fasciolata with closely related sympatric species, clarify the taxonomic confusions surrounding them, discover and describe many new species, and propose a new classification system. The project is expected to unveil species diversity of Schistura fasciolata s.l., clarify some of taxonomic confusions, present a baseline for conservation and utilization of their biodiversity resource, provide an important reference for the taxonomy of widespread species of nemacheiline fishes, and lay sound foundation for further taxonomic investigations on Schistura and Nemacheilidae as well.

横纹南鳅为小型底栖鱼类，广泛分布于中国南部的长江及其以南水系和越南北部红河等水系。目前，横纹南鳅物种分类及其与同域分布的相近种之间的界定存在诸多问题，因缺乏系统研究其物种多样性被低估。拟立项目将结合形态和分子证据，进行物种界定，从而澄清横纹南鳅及相近种物种分类上的混乱，发现和描述新物种，构建新的分类系统。此项目对横纹南鳅及其相近种的物种探索将深入地揭示其物种多样性，澄清物种分类上存在的问题，为物种多样性资源的保护与利用提供可靠依据，为条鳅科中众多“熟识而非真知”的广布种物种分类研究提供借鉴，为南鳅属和条鳅科物种分类研究奠定基础。

横纹南鳅为小型底栖鱼类，广泛分布于中国的长江及其以南水系和越南北部红河等水系。目前，横纹南鳅物种分类及其与同域分布的相近种之间的界定存在诸多问题，因缺乏系统研究其物种多样性被低估。本项目结合形态和分子证据，进行物种界定，澄清横纹南鳅及相近种物种分类上的混乱，发现和描述新物种，构建新的分类系统。研究结果显示：广义横纹南鳅的物种多样性被低估，存在多个未曾描述的物种。澄清了已知种间分类学上一些混淆。形态学数据和分子结果证实海南有两种南鳅属鱼类分布，即横纹南鳅和另一未描述的物种。此前作为横纹南鳅同物异名的亨氏南鳅和华坪南鳅应是有效种。同时本研究发现了越南洞穴条鳅科鱼类2新种。本项目对横纹南鳅及其相近种的物种探索深入地揭示其物种多样性，澄清物种分类上存在的问题，为南鳅属和条鳅科的广布种物种分类研究提供借鉴。
