With the entry of commerce in 1995, Internet has grown explosively both in size and topological complexity. With the explosive growth of Internet, the architecture of Internet becomes more and more difficult to control, and its stability depends on the underlying.stability of routing. Instability of routing leads to increased packet.4loss, latency, out of order packets and even widespread loss of etwork connectivity. Therefore, the reliability, stability and robust of Internet has become the focus that academia and industry are widely concerned about..This project starts with analysis of Border Gateway Protocol's routing.stability and convergence properties, and emphasizes the study on the.impact of inter-domain routing protocol and routing policy on Internet.performance and stability..We first collect and monitor the exchange information of BGP routing..Then, we summarize the typical instances of BGP route oscillations and.classify them by convergence property. We carefully analyze the dynamic.behavior characteristics in period of BGP routing oscillations, using the.routing testbed we built to reproduce the typical BGP routing oscillations..Through constructing an abstract model of BGP, we analyze the causes and.laws of BGP routing oscillations in theory. Further, according to the.results, we present the resolution to eliminate BGP routing oscillations,.and enhance the stability and convergence of BGP. We also simulate the.resolution we presented using system simulation technology, which further.proves the effectiveness of our resolution. Some of our important research.results are as follows:.1. Present the classification of BGP routing oscillations by.convergence property, that is transient route oscillations and.persistent route oscillations.2. Present a method specifically to transient routing oscillations,.which uses the MRAI asymmetric configuration to eliminate route.oscillations and enhance the stability and convergence of BGP 3. Specifically to persistent route oscillations, we present a detection method for routing policy confliction, which is based on autonomous system relationship 4. Present an approach to seek routing policy dispute based on.avoidance of dispute cycle, which satisfies the shortcoming of safe path-vector protocol. Meanwhile another approach to determine the severity level of routing policy is presented based.on autonomous system relationship.5. Present a theoretical model to describe routing architecture 5 using process algebra 6. Present a language to describe the inner scalable structure and.routing policy of large-scale autonomous system through the expansion of RPSL(Routing Protocol Specification Language), which provides a description tool for unified management of the inner scalable structure and routing policy of large-scale autonomous system 7. Present a management framework for large-scale autonomous system specifically to the complexity of management of large-scale.autonomous system

Internet的可靠性、稳定性、健壮性是当前学术界和应用领域普遍关注的焦点。随着Internet规模的急剧膨胀,体系结构变得越来越难以控制,其稳定性很大程度上依赖于路由的稳定性,而路由的不稳定性将引起连接中断,分组丢失,路由动态更新瘫痪等。本项研究着眼于Internet体系结构的动态性和异构性,从实际运行故障数据的分析入手,应用故障注入技术,采用先进的和现成的软件工具,对网络的故障和路由稳定性进
