With the explosive growth of Internet, the architecture of Internet becomes more and more difficult to control, and its stability depends on the underlying.stability of routing. Therefore, the reliability, stability and robust of Internet has become the focus that academia and industry are widely concerned about..This project starts with analysis of Border Gateway Protocol's routing.stability and convergence properties, and emphasizes the study on the.impact of inter-domain routing protocol and routing policy on Internet.performance and stability..We first collect and monitor the exchange information of BGP routing..Then, we summarize the typical instances of BGP route oscillations and.classify them by convergence property. We carefully analyze the dynamic.behavior characteristics in period of BGP routing oscillations, using the.routing testbed we built to reproduce the typical BGP routing oscillations..Through constructing an abstract model of BGP, we analyze the causes and.laws of BGP routing oscillations in theory. Further, according to the.results, we present the resolution to eliminate BGP routing oscillations,.and enhance the stability and convergence of BGP.
