Aimed at the problem with complexity and strategic features faced by urban-regional development, and under the terminal demand of value achievement on complex strategic data in the big data era, as well as the customization need of creative and innovative spatial-temporal data products in the background of geographic information industry development, the project introduces a state-of-art idea of “information design” to explore design modes of multi-thematic atlas with large capacity information coupling multi-objects. Besides, according to the principles of “comprehensive integration systematicness”, “hierarchy of data-concept coupling”, and “creative and innovative customization”, concerning the expression demand and connotation definition on urban-regional intricate strategic issues, this proposal explores some creatively integrative design of spatial information in a limited platform, while establishes the definition and conceptual framework of “Geo-Infographics” as well as its category system. Moreover, we build the synthetic paradigms, design principles and available methodologies of visualization modus in diverse expression demands. In addition, we present related strategies of cartographic information transmission and interface interaction under multi-medium situation. However, all theories and solutions above would be applied and verified through developing some prototypes of new style atlas cases. Finally, the study focuses on the core bottleneck during thematic map design development, and strives for a new theoretical perspective, thereby having exploratory significance of reconstructing and optimizing the information design philosophy for thematic atlas.
针对城市区域发展面临问题的复杂性和战略性特征,面向大数据时代复杂战略性数据价值化流程的终端需求,以及地理信息产业发展对时空数据产品创意创新的定制需求,研究拟引入“信息设计”前沿理念,探索多元耦合的地图集多专题大容量信息设计模式。 依据“综合集成的系统性”、“耦合概念的层级性”、“创新创意的定制性”原则,围绕城市区域复杂战略问题的表达需求和内涵界定,探索有限载体环境下时空信息的创意整合设计,提出“空间信息图示(Geo-Infographics)”的定义、概念框架与分类体系,建立不同表达需求下可视化形式整合的范式、设计原则和可用方法;同时探索多介质情境下地图信息传输和界面交互策略;最终应用于新型地图集案例原型系统的开发,对上述理论和方案进行验证。项目聚焦专题地图集设计优化的关键瓶颈,谋求新的理论视角,对重构和拓展专题地图集信息设计模式具有重要的探索意义。
地图是城市区域复杂问题研究的重要思维和表达工具,也是时空信息传达和认知的不可替代的特色媒介。申请人聚焦城市区域地图集可视化流程中“复杂对象”与“认知服务”始末两端,发展了“专题地图集多元时空信息集成表达与深度知识传达设计”的理论框架和技术应用方案,给出有限界面环境下地图信息整合与综合叙事设计的可用路径。首先,构建兼顾数据与概念表达的“时空信息图示”概念框架,提出“类地图”分类体系和形式设计图谱;其次,基于要素集成中“结构-界面-媒介”三重逻辑联动,给出地图集叙事式信息重构、界面组织和交互设计策略;最后,完成不同尺度和专题特征的多部示范案例地图集的开发设计。这些理论、方法和应用系统拓展了地图集服务城市区域研究的边界,有助于强化多场景下地图形式的定制和创意,提升地图信息传输效率和认知体验,促进专题地图表达体系的革新和转型。
