The photocathode lifetime need be considered in electron gun with high average current. One of the primary factors influences the photocathode lifetime is temperature. The photocathode and substrate temperature with laser irradiation and halogen heating have been analyzed by ANSYS, These temperature have been also experimental studied by thermal infrared imager. .In the project, the temperature will be studied in a variety of conditions, as follows:.1. How much the temperature changes, when the surface contaminants of the photocathode and stain steel (SS)/molybdenum (Mo) substrate has been removed by halogen heating and laser cleaning..2. The relationship between temperature and the photocathode performance in photocathode preparation process has been studied..3. The relationship between temperature and the photocathode performance has also been studied..4. The temperature changes when the performance of the degraded photocathode recovers. .We can get the best preparation and operation temperature of photocathode by these investigations, to control various parameters in photocathode preparation and photocathode operation process.
高平均电流强度运行的电子枪,需考虑的是光阴极寿命,温度是影响光阴极寿命的主要因素之一。我们用ANSYS理论模拟分析大功率密度激光照射和卤素灯加热时光阴极及基底的温度,在实验上热成像仪研究光阴极及基底的温度。本项目主要研究内容:1. 卤素灯加热和激光照射清洗去掉不锈钢(SS)/钼(Mo)基底表面污染物时的温度;2. 制备过程中温度与光阴极性能关系;3. 温度对制备好光阴极的影响;4. 性能退化的光阴极性能恢复时的温度变化。通过以上研究得到光阴极最佳的制备和工作温度,以便控制光阴极制备和电子枪中光阴极运行的条件参数。
