As disccued in the project proposal, we have presented a series of algorithms for surface reconstruction and surface simplification. We have reconstructed the head and the organic shape from a set of image slices. With the.combination of algebraic polynomial and trigonometric or hyperbolic, we propsed a new kind of B-spline named hyperbolic polynomial and trigonometric polynomial.B-spline. We have also found the minimal surface of polynomial function of two variables. This project can contributed the development of CAGD, it has also supplied new theories and new tools for CAD technologies.
