The program is focusing on the pioneering and interdisciplinary research of new cultural geography, urban geography and urban planology. The research is based on the typical development model of city space in the process of urbanization and analyzes the largely expanded modern consumption culture space. It's trying to proceed from an interdisciplinary angle and to analyze the consumption type of culture space in big cities in the global background -the production mechanism and expression of the space of leisure & recreation blocks based on history and culture. The program is take Xi'an, a big city, as an example. It studies the "meaning" construction of the social culture in the consumption space. A constantly evolving place theory and the people-place mutual relation is explored in the space from dimensions of time, space and society. Under the guidance of above thoughts, this program is inspired with the concepts in the new culture geology, trying to explore the issues of consumption space from the new culture geology, the urban geology and the urban planology. This program is exploring a new research model based on these three research methods, which is an interdisciplinary research method. The goal is planned to be achieved by completing the following objects: First of all, the program will design a research framework cored with theories of space production and place theory. Secondly, with this framework, the program will analyze the types of urban consumption space, the characteristics of the space distribution in the city, the factors of the formation. Thirdly, the program will select typical and different types of consumption space in Xi'an as the cases for study. In these cases, the program will not only analyze the social significance and local significance, but also the causes of the consumption space. Fourthly, the program will study on the historical process of the space production of the consumption space and the construction of locality, as well as analyze the deep dynamic mechanism. Lastly, in the period of China cultural industry construction, the program is inspecting the process and contents of the culture construction of leisure & recreation blocks consumption space. It can only be concluded from humanistic laws in the combination of the city culture, behavior space and consumption culture. The program will also create a model for the space after the culture construction. Aiming to explain the deep culture issues in the process of urban renewal, this program will make cultural contribution to the policy making for the urban development. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the theoretical construction of culture study in the process of urbanization with Chinese characteristics under the view of cultural geology, and that update the rethinking on people-space relation in the current academic study.
课题紧紧围绕新文化地理学、城市地理学与城市规划前沿交叉的聚焦方向,拟以新文化地理学的消费文化与人本空间建构为理念,结合城市地理"文化空间转向"前沿下文化社区或中心构成原理,结合城市规划学科建筑伦理视域下的消费街区景观规划研究,以大都市西安为例,研究其休闲娱乐街区消费空间的社会文化"意义"建构,从时间、空间和社会三个维度探究该空间不断演化的地方性以及人地之间的互动关系。在此思想指导下,设计以空间生产、地方意义为核心的测量体系和研究框架,综合运用跨学科的理论与研究方法,分析城市消费空间的类型、布局及演化机制;从中选取典型性的消费空间,分析该空间的物质、社会文化意义及其地方意义与动因,并分析其空间生产及地方性建构与重塑的过程与演化机制,探讨中国文化产业建设时期,城市文化、行为空间与消费文化人本规律下休闲娱乐街区消费空间的文化建构及其模式。
消费社会背景下,以消费文化为导向的符号经济成为推动城市发展的动力,消费性场所取代了生产性场所成为城市的标志,消费空间大规模出现。反映后现代主义思潮的新文化地理学也将消费主义景观作为最新、最重要的研究对象之一。. 课题选取西安典型的消费空间作为研究案例,首先着眼于城市消费空间的公平与民主研究,一方面对消费空间内部所包含的社会关系的非公正性进行表征分析,另一方面建构消费空间公正的目标价值;其次,借助对典型消费空间的实证调查,考察空间性别化特征以及性别因素决定下的空间之权力隐喻关系,总结人—地互动模式中的性别建构特征;最后,探讨消费空间的地方意义及其产生的内在机理。. 研究表明,立足于空间公正的批判性视角,从过程性公正、结构性公正、人本性公正三方面进行消费空间公正评价,发现其过程性公平指数处于一般水平,其结构性存在着失衡以及消费主体的人本性缺失。基于女性主义视角,发现消费空间见证了女性空间权的觉醒与实践,现代女性在消费空间中的行为并未显著改变性别化分工,两性在消费空间中的表现实质上是性别权力关系的投射。从地方性形成机制发现,城市景观能有效建构消费空间的地方性,地方性产业有助于其持续发展,而消费主体是塑造地方性的主动力。. 课题以新文化地理学的消费文化与人本空间建构为理念,综合运用跨学科的理论与研究方法,旨在解释目前城市更新和改造过程中存在的深层次文化问题,为完善目前城市发展政策做出文化角度的贡献。在理论上有助于构建文化地理学视野下中国特色城市化过程中的文化现象研究,完善当前学术研究中对人与地之间的相互作用关系的再思考;现实上则为更好地推进城市更新质量,保护地方文化和城市精神,构建和谐社会提供一定的参考。
