Some functional fullerene derivatives were synthesised. Their three-order optical nonlinearity and optical limiting performance were studied by using nanosecond degenerate four-wave-mixing (DFWM), reverse saturable absorption and transient absorption spectrum. Using C60(CN)2 as a model compound, we studied the interaction of C60(CN)2 with strong light and illustrated the affection of adduct groups on optical limiting performance. The results show that it cannot improve optical limiting performance of pristine C60 via surface modified method. .A special addition of C60 with primary amine was found, and the mechanism was suggested. Photophysical and biological activity of a series of C60 derivatives containing piperazinyl, carbazolyl and indolyl were studied. Study results show that these derivatives have good ability of scavenging radicals. Using a new method, MC60(THF)x (M=Li, Na, K) were prepared and characterized by EPR, UV-Vis-NIR, IR spectra. .Using sol-gel, toluene solution, anions of C60 and C70, we prepared nanowires and nanotubes of C60 and C70 in alumina templates. Using the nanotubes as the second order templates and electrochemical deposition method, metal Fe, Co, Ni nanowires-filled C60 and C70 nanotubes were fabricated and their morphology, microstructures, and magnetic properties were studied. It resolved two difficult problems: (1)Fabrication of an ordered array of C60 and C70 nanowires; (2) The high ratios of filled metal.

富勒烯衍生物的光物理和光生物性质是最具吸引力和最有应用前景的研究课题。设计合成两大类近20个功能性衍生物,用时间分辨荧光光谱、时间分辨吸收光谱、闪光光解和非线性光学测量装置以及生物试验等系统研究加合基团的结构对富勒烯性质的影响,总结相互作用的规律,为设计合成出具有实用意义的衍生物提供依据。................................................................................................................................................................................
