第八届全国生物数学学术年会

The national conference on biomathematics is the largest meeting in China for topics on biomathematics and it holds once every four years. Since the first conference on biomathematics was held in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou in 1984, there have been 7 meetings. The 8th National Conference on Biomathematics, hosted by School of Mathematical Science, Yangzhou University, will be held at Yangzhou in July, 2016 during the summer vacation. The conference will be attended by about 600 participants from about 180 Chinese universities and academic institutes and there will be more than 30 foreign guests who visit China during the vacation. The previous conferences were partially supported by the NSF of China. During our preparing this conference, the NSF of China is intended to be one of the budget funding for the conference to cover partially local accommodation of the invited experts, venue hire, the conference information and propaganda, and so on.

全国生物数学学术会议是中国生物数学界规格最高、规模最大的学术会议，四年一届。自1984年在广州中山大学召开首届全国生物数学学术会议以来，已经成功举办了七届。第八届全国生物数学会议由扬州大学数学科学学院承办，将于2016年7月暑假期间在扬州召开。预计将有来自国内约180所高等院校和学术机构的600名左右专家学者及研究生参加本次学术会议，同时将有30多位海外专家在假期访华期间出席会议。往届会议得到了国家自然科学基金委的关心和支持。本次会议筹备的过程中，国家自然科学基金也被组委会列为预算经费的主要来源之一，主要用于会议特邀专家住宿费、交通费、会场租聘和会议宣传等支出。

中国生物数学学会学术年会是中国生物数学界规格最高、规模最大的学术会议，四年一届。第八届学术年会于2016年7月17-21日在扬州会议中心召开。有来自国内约180所高等院校和学术机构的700余名专家学者和研究生参加了本次学术会议，也有20多位海外专家在假期访华期间出席了会议。会议共安排了8个大会报告、26个邀请报告和83个小组报告。会议报告内容集中于当前生物数学的重要研究领域：种群生态学、传染病动力学、生物统计、生物信息、计算生物学、生物医学工程与图像处理等，在展示国内外生物数学家们重要成果的同时，特别推出了一些新兴的研究方向，重点突出了优秀青年学者的工作。会议期间召开了第七届理事会。
