生物黑客——外来入侵生物科普展览

Many alien species have been recently introduced into China due to rapidly growing international trade and foreign visits, some of them, i.e., invasive species have posed significant threats to biodiversity and agriculture and forestry. Since most invasive species are introduced and dispersed by human activities, public outreach and education on biological invasions will assist the public to learn about the knowledge of biological invasions and then benefit the prevention and control of invasive species. Here we proposal to exhibit knowledge on invasive species on posters and live plants growing in gardens as well as specimen of animals (including insects). The posters will include popular knowledge on definition of invasive species, introduction pathway, impacts on ecosystem and agriculture and forestry, prevention and control strategies and approaches. A total 23 live invasive plant species and 17 animal and insect specimen, as well as 32 invasive species images will be exhibited. These popular science exhibitions combining text and image posters, live plants and specimen, will not only improve the public awareness of risks by invasive species, but also help to guide the public for their behavior for appropriate species introduction and disperse, which will eventually lead to preventing and fighting invasive species by the entire society.

近年来，随着国际贸易高速发展和国际交往活动日益频繁，大量的外来生物传入我国，导致了严重的生物入侵现象，一些有害外来物种给生物多样性和农林业经济带来了重大损失。由于外来入侵生物主要是经人类活动传入和扩散的，加强外来入侵种的科普宣传教育将有助于提高公众对生物入侵的认识，有利于外来入侵种的预防和管理。本项目在国内首次提出建立入侵生物与生物安全宣传教育展览，包括文字与图片展牌展示、入侵植物活体植物展示和入侵动物标本展示三个部分，共展示入侵动植物72种。通过文字和实物相结合，本项目将全面展示生物入侵的基本知识，包括入侵生物概念、传入途径、对生态和农林业的危害，以及预防和控制对策，使公众全面了解生物入侵的科普知识，提高公众对入侵生物的危害的警惕，引导公众树立正确的物种引进和保护行为规范，使全社会都投入到预防和控制“生物黑客”的活动中。
