This project systematically tracked and partially developed the theory and technology of wave-equation-based multiple attenuation. On the base of the theory and method, the mathematic model of modeling and inversion was designed, and the corresponding software was also developed. Comparing with conventional methods, Synthetic and real marine seismic data demonstrated its better effect and stronger applicability. By the way, the shortcomings and developing direction of current methods was also known.. The research achievements are domestically original. This project implemented the surface-related multiple attenuation on pre-stack multi-shot gathers and post-stack trace, and it also developed the multi-channel Wiener filter for adaptive filtering.
