基于结构弛豫的过冷液体动力学不均匀性研究

Recently it has been revealed that when approaching the glass-transition temperature Tg,the dynamics of a liquid not only drastically slows down, but also becomes progressively more heterogeneous.However,we still do not know the origin of dynamical heterogeneity towards Tg.In this project,we focus mainly on the aspect of dynamical heterogeneity derectly associated with structural relaxation in supercooled liquids.Firstly,according to the medium-range bond- orientational order model,construct relation between structural order parameter, correlation length,available degrees of freedom and the structural relaxation. Secondly, construct link between effective interface tension fluctuations and the structural relaxation based on the interface tension distribution in deeply supercooled liquid.Finally,taking into account the discrepancies of dynamica feature between strong liquids and fragile liquids, establish connetion between fragility and the structural relaxation by relating fragility to structural parameter and interface tension.Propose a general model of glass transition covering both strong and fragile liquids. We hope that our investigations will provide the physical mechanism of dynamical heterogeneity from the perspective of structural relaxation and open a new perspective on a wide range of metastable materials

在玻璃转变过程中，过冷液体在玻璃转变温度Tg附近动力学急剧减慢，并且动力学不均匀性逐渐加强。目前，人们对动力学不均匀性的产生原因依然不清楚。本项目拟在过冷液体结构弛豫方面开展一些理论和实验探索。首先，根据中程结构序模型，构建结构序参数、可用自由度数和相关长度与原子结构弛豫间的关系模型。其次，通过研究原子在深过冷液态的有效界面张力分布，建立有效界面张力波动与结构弛豫之间的关联。最后，由于强液体和弱液体具有不同的微观动力学特征，因此通过深入研究脆性与结构参量和界面张力间的关系，构建脆性和结构弛豫之间的关联，提出对强液体和弱液体普适的玻璃转变规律。我们希望通过本项目的研究，从结构弛豫角度揭示动力学不均匀性的本质，从而为非晶合金的成分设计和性能开发奠定重要的理论基础。

在玻璃转变过程中，过冷液体的结构演化及动力学性质是非晶态材料研究领域的重要问题。本项目主要研究过冷液体的结构弛豫及相关的动力学性质。首先，根据中程结构序模型，提出了团簇分布熵的概念，给出了其具体数学表达式，并对几种合金的中程序结构进行了模拟计算分析。研究结果表明，不同的合金具有不同的团簇分布熵。该参数的提出为定量地描述非晶合金的中程序结构提供了一种方法。其次，研究了过冷液体扩散系数随压力的变化关系。研究结果表明：过冷液体中原子扩散系数D随1/P*的变化关系满足Arrhenius关系。最后，通过对Zr53、Zr51.9和Zr50.7三种具有不同玻璃形成能力的块体非晶合金进行研究，得到了三种合金在过冷液相区的脆性系数，其数值分别为55.1，53.4和51.2。随着脆性系数的降低，合金的玻璃形成能力增强。通过本项目的研究，为非晶合金的成分设计和性能开发奠定了理论及实验基础。
