plasma irrgularrites or bubble is one of the primary cause of ionospheric scittilation in the low- latitudes ionosphere, it is very important and useful to study the plasma bubble and related scitillation in the ionosphere. With a high sensitometric camera, the pasma bubbles in a wide range of ionosphere are easy to be observed during dark night, and their structure, variation and motions can be derived by analysis those photos. In that, the plama bubble is worldwide investigated by using optical method..Due to lacking of optical obseving instrument, there are few report about the plasma bubble by optical method in China. In this study, we plan to derive the photos of ionospheric plasma bubbles from the Hainan airglow measurements, which is operated by the Meridional projection. And then, combining with the triditional VHF radar, ionosonde and GNSS scittilation data, we are intend to carefully investigate the shapes,sructure, spectral intensity, region size, movements and variations of plasma bubbles, and study their relationship with the radio measurements. When the data are pooled , we are gong to stastically study their morphologic feature, i.e. their occuing, developing, space and time distribution. In the end, we are try to give a optical scheme for obseving the plasma bubble, which is suitable to automatically observe the ionospheric plasma bubbles in south China in a wide range and mutiscale size, and to study the possibility of measure the plasma bubble and related scintillation with a optical instrument
电离层中的等离子体不规则结构(又称等离子体泡)是低纬度电离层闪烁主要原因,研究电离层等离子体泡具有很强的科学和应用价值。光学手段可观测较大范围内等离子体泡结构、变化和运动特征,国外有较多光学手段研究等离子体泡工作,我国由于缺乏光学观测资料少有此类工作开展。本项目利用子午工程海南气辉观测数据,通过数字图像处理方法,提取电离层F区等离子体气辉图像;结合传统无线电观测(VHF雷达、测高仪、GNSS闪烁和TEC等)资料,分析等离子体泡形状、结构、大小、变化和运动速度等信息,统计研究等离子体泡光学特征与传统无线电观测的关系,多角度揭示电离层不规则结构的整体特征、演变规律和物理机理。对比分析GNSS重力波观测、地磁扰动观测等资料与光学观测到电离层等离子体泡出现的相关性,研究大气波动和地磁扰动等在等离子体泡发生发展中的“种子”作用和机理。探索光学手段大范围监测电离层等离子体泡并进行闪烁监测预警的可行性。
