A low-molecular-weight peptide which was called Gt factor was isolated and purified from a brown-rot fungus. It has hydroxyl radical HO。producing activity. First, it was proved that the low-molecular-weight factor which can produce HO。is generally produced by brown-rot fungi when they grow on lignocellulose materials. Then the properties and founctions of Gt factor on the biodegradation of natural cellulose and lignin was studied in details. It showed that Gt factor could oxidatively dagrade cellulose and lignin via HO。, which may be the initial step in the biodegradation of lignocellulose. Besides this, it also showed that Gt factor could inactivate certain bacteria, fungi and phages. At last, different fungi which can produce Gt factor were used in the experiments of bio-pulping and bio-bleaching.
新纯化到一种具木素降解能力的低分子量化合物Gt-chelator(Gtc),拟对其启动木素降解的生化反应机制及对各种木素降解酶类的调控作用进行进一步研究,揭示天然木素降解的初始过程。在此基础上建立一可体外稳定降解木素的氧化还原体系并将其用于纸浆的生物漂白。
