To study the gene expression profile on nasopharyngearl carcinoma, paracarcinoma, pericarcinoma and inflammation and to obtain the NPC-related genes, we used the microdissection of freeze-section, the total RNA extracted from these tissues were retro-transcripted and labeled with Cy-3, Cy-5 of fluorescence. The cDNA probes were hybrided to the high density cDNA gene chip BiostarH-40S with 4000 genes, then the signals were analyzed by computer software. The results showed that there are a lot of differential expression genes in the three groups of tissues. The number of genes of differential expression were respectively 861, 495, and 318 between the nasopharyngearl carcinoma and paracarcinoma, nasopharyngearl carcinoma and pericarcinoma, nasopharyngearl carcinoma and inflammation tissue. The genes of differential expression concentrate at a few types, mainly, Include oncogene and anti-oncogene, cyclin, immunity correlation, translation and Synthesize of protain, et al. The results indicated that there are multi-types gene contributed to nasopharyngearl carcinoma and some genes could play an important role. The study give a lot of information data for the research of NPC.
