The transonic flow and mixed partial differential equations are an important description of the detonation phenomenon, but their mathematical theory is relatively lagging. One is difficult, and the other is complex background, involving multiple disciplines. Therefore, no matter the needs of mathematical theory research, the needs of background disciplines or the needs of talent cultivation, it is particularly urgent to strengthen the study of transonic flow and mixed partial differential equations. Based on this, we applied for a high-level seminar on transonic flow and mixed partial differential equations. The seminar aims to bring together experts in the field of detonation theory, gas explosion-proof explosion-proof technology experts and engine propulsion technology experts, led by famous mathematician Chen Shuxing, Professor Xin Zhouping, and Professor Chen Guiqiang, and aviation engine expert Yin Zeyong. The mathematical description of detonation of mixed and degenerate partial differential equations is the main field. Discussions are held in various forms such as lectures, questions, discussions, and collaborative writing of papers, and strive to propose and solve a series of mathematical theories with international standards. 跨音速流与混合型偏微分方程是对爆轰现象的一个重要描述,但其数学理论相对滞后,一是难度大,二是背景问题复杂,涉及多个学科。因此,无论数学理论研究的需求、背景学科的需求还是人才培养的需求,都使得加强跨音速流与混合型偏微分方程的研究显得格外迫切。基于此,我们申请举办跨音速流及混合型偏微分方程高级研讨班项目。此研讨班旨在汇聚国内在这一领域爆轰理论专家、瓦斯爆炸阻隔爆技术专家和发动机推进技术专家,在著名数学家陈恕行院士、辛周平教授和陈贵强教授以及航空发动机专家尹泽勇院士的带领下,以混合型、退化型偏微分方程爆轰的数学描述为主要领域,采用主讲、提问、研讨、合作撰写论文等多样的形式开展讨论班,力争提出和解决一系列具有国际水准的数学理论问题和其他科学问题。本次研讨班将努力探索一条适用的、有效的合作研究模式。厦门大学也有一支锐意进取的偏微分方程团队,非常乐意为前来合作的专家提供优越的场所来研讨问题。
