决策理论之争的前提：单行和并行策略的跨期决策机制研究

Intertemporal choice refers to the tradeoff among outcomes that occur at different time points， covering a wide range of topics at individual and national levels, from daily trivial to the future prosperity of a country. The arguments of theoretical models of intertemporal choice focuses on how individuals make their choices. However, the premise of these fights, whether individuals adopted single strategy or parallel strategy, is still ignored. Therefore, we elaborate three studies. Study 1 will explore the behavioral pattern of single strategy when continuous similar stimuli were presented; Study 2 learns from task-switch paradigm in the working memory field, and explore the behavioral pattern of parallel strategy through comparing strategy repetition and strategy switch condition; Study 3 uses the eye-tracking to explore the eye movement and cognitive mechanism underlying the single and parallel strategy. The findings will theoretically shed light on the arguments between different models of intertemporal choice, while practically provide psychological helps for decision managements and public policy making.

跨期决策指对发生在不同时间点上的结果之间进行的权衡，不仅影响一个人的健康财富与幸福，也影响一个国家的繁荣和昌盛。目前学界跨期决策理论模型的争论落脚在个体以何种方式进行跨期决策，然而这一争论的前提，即个体采取的策略是单行还是并行，仍然是目前研究者所忽视的问题之一。为此，本项目拟设计三个研究：研究一探索连续呈现相似刺激时个体采用单一策略的行为学模式；研究2借鉴工作记忆领域的任务转换范式通过比较决策策略重复和决策策略转换两种条件，探索个体采取并行策略的行为模式和影响因素；研究3采用使用眼动追踪技术深入比较个体采取单一和并行策略的眼动指标和心理机制。预期本项目结果从理论上可以为决策理论之争提供新的突破口，从现实上也可以为个体决策管理和公共政策制定提供心理学的帮助。

在本项目的资助下，我们围绕“决策理论之争的前提：单行和并行策略的跨期决策机制研究”这一科学问题，项目组按计划执行了申请时预设的研究。主要在以下两个方面取得了进展：一是设计了新的实验范式，并采用了分层贝叶斯建模的方式进行模型拟合，直接检验了“跨期决策是否基于折扣计算过程”的假设。该研究结果发现，在任务绩效、操作变量、个体差异变量和模型拟合层面，两个任务均表现出了双分离效应。影响折扣计算过程的因素，如计算难度和计算能力只影响基线折扣任务的绩效；而与折扣计算过程无关但与跨期决策有关的因素，如结果大小和基于直觉的认知反思风格只影响自主跨期任务的绩效。该研究设计的基线折扣任务和自主跨期任务匹配的双分离实验范式，可以有效地应用于跨期决策的理论模型检验。二是考察眼动研究中的关键假设“计算主观价值伴随着基于选项内的扫视”，是否在任何情况下都是如此。该研究结果发现，从眼动指标上看，计算主观价值任务，应该会产生更多的选项内扫视。但是研究结果发现，计算主观价值任务产生了更多的维度间扫视。这些结果为跨期选择的眼动研究提供了方法学上的借鉴。
