Asian Journal of Andrology (AJA) is an official scientific journal in English sponsored by Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It is located in Asia and facing the world. The purpose of AJA is providing great opportunities for scientists in andrological filed in Asia and other countries to publish their scientific findings, which are mainly related to male health. AJA started in 1999 and was indexed in over 10 well-known international index systems including SCI-core database. It was selected in SCI in 2000 and the SCI impact factor was 0.827 in 2002. AJA impact factor remains around 1.500 and gradually increases in years 2003-2010. AJA also ranks the third among the international andrological journals for nine years continuously. In addition, AJA is the top journal among the entire clinical class SCI journals in China. The editor-in-chief of AJA is Professor Yi-Fei Wang, the principal adviser for Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The editorial board of AJA consists of 109 famous experts in andrology (>70% overseas). To date, AJA has over 3000 overseas reviewers who are experts in andrology. AJA aims to be an international journal persistently, over 60% papers in AJA are from overseas, and the rejection rate of papers is over 75%. AJA also launches special issues, provides special columns including research highlight and perspective, as well as organizes the international conferences and symposium on a regular basis.

《亚洲男性学杂志》（Asian Journal of Andrology，AJA）是中科院上海药物所和上海交通大学共同主办的全英文国际性刊物，刊物扎根中国、立足亚洲、面向全球，主要刊登男性生殖健康相关研究，为亚洲和国际男科学者提供学术发表的园地。杂志1999年创刊，被包括SCI核心数据库在内的十多种国际著名检索系统收录。2000年入选SCI，2002年SCI影响因子0.827，2003-2010年逐步上升并保持1.5左右，在同类国际男科杂志中连续九年排第三，在全国临床类SCI期刊中一直名列前茅。主编由上海交大校长顾问王一飞教授担任。编委会由109名国内外知名专家组成（>70%海外），还组建了由3000多位国际专家组成的审稿队伍。AJA坚持国际化，>60%稿源来自海外，退稿率>75%，定期推出专题特刊，开辟述评、观点等特色栏目，定期主办国际会议和国内小型研讨会。

《亚洲男性学杂志》（Asian Journal of Andrology）是中科院上海药物研究所.和上海交通大学共同主办的全英文学术期刊。在2013-2014年间，经过努力圆满完成了国.家自然科学基金“重点学术期刊专项基金”资助的预定计划，促进了杂志的发展，提升.了杂志在国内外的学术影响力，在杂志国际化办刊的道路上又向前迈进了一步。重要成.果如下：2014年的SCI影响因子达到2.530，是杂志SCI影响因子的新高，依然稳居国际同.行杂志的第三；2013-2014年度收到稿件约为1100篇，来自50多个国家和地区，其中国外.来稿占60%。共发表稿件294篇， 其中国外有281篇，占71.32%；连续出版7期高质量的学.术特刊，目前正在组织策划的特刊有11期；成功组织了2次国际学术会议，2次国内学术.会议，并4次在国际会议上做报告宣传杂志，多次在国内学术会议上进行英语论文写作培.训；成功展开开放获取出版模式；成功建立了杂志的微信公众平台；从政府部门和一些.重要机构获取多项认可杂志水平和质量的资助和奖项；发表了多篇关于期刊运营的学术.论文。这些成果充分展示了办刊蓬勃的发展趋势。.
