天元数学中部中心

Tianyuan Mathematics Center in Central China is a regional platform for academic exchange and collaboration, which is based on Wuhan University and supported by 23 institutes in the area of Anhui, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangsu provinces. Tianyuan Mathematics Center in Central China will focus on the research field of analysis, such as partial differential equations, geometric analysis and complex analysis, numerical analysis, dynamical systems, as well as other various branches of mathematics for a number of frontier fields and important development directions. The objective is to encourage the cross-integration of analysis with other disciplines. The scientific committee will be in charge of choosing several thematic topics each year. It is also responsible for providing guidance on center's management and academic activities. The mission of the center will be accomplished through a variety of academic activities surrounding the yearly thematic topics and related areas. Four thematic topics are planned in the coming four years: 1. Partial differential equations; 2. Geometric analysis and complex analysis; 3. Numerical analysis and high performance computing; 4. Theory and application of dynamical systems. The overarching goal of the Tianyuan Mathematics Center in Central China is to build a strong academic exchange and collaboration platform through the incorporation of successful experiences of similar centers and institutions from other countries, and use the platform to train and produce high caliber researchers and scholars in analysis and related areas of mathematics for our country, especially the central part of China.

天元数学中部中心以武汉大学为依托单位，联合安徽、河北、河南、湖北、湖南、江苏等中部六省的二十三家共建单位，旨在打造带有学科特色的区域性学术交流平台。天元数学中部中心将围绕分析这一研究领域，同时联合偏微分方程、几何分析与复分析、数值分析、动力系统等数学分支，针对若干前沿领域和重要发展方向，促进分析领域在各个数学分支及与其它学科的交叉融合。天元数学中部中心将秉承学术委员会为核心的原则，在学术委员会的指导下进行中心的运营管理并开展学术活动。天元数学中部中心在接下来的四年中将围绕"偏微分方程"、"几何分析与复分析"、"数值分析与高性能计算"、"动力系统的理论和应用"等四个主题组织活动。中心将借鉴国际学术交流机构的成功经验与做法，打造具有学科特色的中部地区数学学科的学术交流平台。

天元数学中部中心以构建交流平台促进合作与研究为主旨，针对若干数学及其交叉领域或专题，通过多种形式的学术交流研讨活动，凝聚相关研究队伍，聚焦科学问题，深化国内外多领域专家间合作，培养青年学术骨干，引导年轻人进入学科前沿，促进数学与其他学科、数学各分支间的交叉融合，提升我国相关领域或专题的整体研究水平，形成优势研究方向，推动数学学科发展。2021年度，通过中部中心的扎实工作，围绕分析这一研究领域，同时联合偏微分方程、几何分析与复分析、高性能计算、动力系统、随机分析共五个学术专题，针对若干前沿领域和重要发展方向，开展学术主题活动，活动形式包括学术会议、短期课程、专题报告与研讨等，促进了中部地区的数学学科交流与建设，取得了较好的建设效果。
