Attributional analysis of responsibility gave a new angle of view to the judgment of behavior responsibility by applying attributional theory to the analysis of failed behavior. Based on the recent progress of interpersonal attribution theory and the findings related with judgment of responsibility,our project focused on the general model: Attribution dimensions→affect response → judgment of responsibility. By field study, scenario experiment and role-playing method, structural equation models that reflected the relationships among causal locus, stability and controllability, affect responses, the change of expectancy and judgments of responsibility were set up. EQS was used to test the models. We found that our models were well supported by the data. In these models, "cognition" (judgment of responsibility) and "affect" (sympathy and anger) had a two-way directional relationship. Not only were causal locus and stability important attributional dimensions that could contribute to the judgment of responsibility, but also affect response contributed to the judgment of responsibility. Causal attribution (including locus, controllability, stability), affect and expectancy change could serve as the antecedents of judgments of behavior responsibility. These studies contributed a lot to the understanding of human behavior, and the findings had the potential to extend to a wide management and social behavior science field, they provided a window for the understanding of evaluation, reactions to employees'orgnizitional behavior.
