RFID technology is the most efficient approach to reduce both inventory shrinkage and demand forecasting error. However, the adoption cost of RFID is so expensive that the fund shortage will be liable to occur. Therefore, it’s urgent to analyze the method of the supply chain players in different financing models coordinate RFID adoption costs and benefits. With the theory of Game and Optimization, we try to optimize the finance and coordination strategies with adoption of RFID in four different types of supply chains: supply chain with single supplier and single retailer, supply chain with competing suppliers and single retailer, supply chain with single supplier and competing retailers, and competing supply chains. To be explicit, this paper includes the following discussions: (1) with analysis of RFID application cost, benefits and financing, we study the financing and coordination strategies of supply chain with single supplier and single retailer based on the Newsvendor model. (2) We study on financing types decision of the single retailer, we focus on the RFID investment balance strategy among competing suppliers basing on the sequential game theory when only a part of competing suppliers invest in RFID. (3) We discuss about the RFID cost-benefit when only a part of competing retailers invest in RFID, we study about the NPC problem of financing and coordination strategies in supply chain with single supplier and competing retailers. (4) In addition, we study the financing and coordination strategies of competing supply chains with non-competing suppliers. It’s a new point of view that study about coordination of supply chain adopting RFID with considering financing decision and horizontal competition.
无线射频识别(RFID)技术是降低库存耗损和需求预测误差最有效手段,然而其应用成本高,极易引起链上成员资金不足,因此迫切需要研究供应链RFID融资决策和收益协调方法。本项目采用博弈及优化等理论,针对四种供应链类型:单供应商单零售商、或竞争供应商单零售商、或单供应商竞争零售商组成的单条供应链及竞争供应链,分别研究其投资RFID的融资协调方法。具体包括:(1)分析RFID应用成本收益和融资契约等要素,基于报童模型研究单供应商单零售商供应链RFID融资协调方法;(2)研究单零售商RFID融资决策,并基于序贯博弈理论分析仅部分竞争供应商投资RFID的均衡策略;(3)考虑竞争零售商部分成员投资RFID的成本收益,研究单供应商竞争零售商供应链融资协调的NPC问题。(4)考虑供应商非竞争的竞争供应链,研究其RFID融资协调策略。考虑融资和横向竞争研究供应链RFID收益协调是新的研究视角。
