Entoloma is a one of the species-richest genera among the agarics. Entolomoid fungi are phylogenetically distinctive and very important for understanding the phylogeny of fungi. After a long term of investigation and morphological taxonomic research by the applicant and his colleagues, quite a lot of species were discovered to be new to science and endemic to China. However, the existing taxonomy systems of Entoloma are mainly based on the study results with the materials from Europe, Americas or Oceania, which are not completely suitable for the Entoloma taxa from China. The positions of some Chinese species are very ambiguous and vague in those systems. Therefore, molecular study on phylogenetic system of the genus should be carried out further and systematically to solve these problems. In this project, the phylogenetic relationships among the different taxa under the genus will be studied based on ITS, nLSU, mtSSU and RPB2 sequence data on the basis of previous results of morphologically taxonomic studies. The existing infrageneric classification methods and definitions will be verified and revised, and a suitable taxonomy system for the Chinese Entoloma taxa will be established. At the same time, a more comprehensive and more natural taxonomy system of Entoloma will be built according to the analysis of the newly found molecular evidences combined with the materials and molecular data from Europe, Americas and other regions. This study will have a great significance for comprehensive understanding of Chinese Entoloma resources and further refining the taxonomy system of the genus in the world.
粉褶蕈属是种类最多的伞菌属之一,以其为代表的粉褶蕈类真菌较为独特,在真菌系统学中具有重要地位。项目申请人等在前期研究中对我国粉褶蕈进行了大量的资源调查与形态分类学研究,发现不少中国特有种类。而现有的分类系统主要是基于欧美或大洋洲材料的结果,并不完全适用于我国的粉褶蕈种类,一些我国的种类在已有分类系统中的位置并不十分确定,我国相关分子系统学研究也有待深入和系统开展。本项目旨在传统的形态学分类研究基础上,基于ITS, LSU, mtSSU, RPB2四个基因片段对我国现有粉褶蕈种类系统地进行分子系统学研究,分析其系统发育关系,进一步验证与修订其属下单元划分,探索属下各分类单元及各种间的系统发生关系,建立一个适合中国粉褶蕈属的分类系统;同时结合欧美等其他地区的材料与分子数据,构建一个更全面、更科学、更自然的粉褶蕈分类系统。本研究将对全面认识我国粉褶蕈属真菌和完善世界粉褶蕈分类系统具有重要意义。
粉褶蕈科真菌种类丰富,形态独特,在真菌系统发育中占有重要的位置。但现有的分类系统主要是基于欧美或大洋洲材料的结果,并不完全适用于我国的粉褶蕈种类。因此本项目在传统的形态学分类研究基础上,基于 ITS, LSU, mtSSU, RPB2 四个基因片段对我国现有粉褶蕈种类系统地进行了分子系统学研究,进一步验证与修订其属下单元划分,探索属下各分类单元及各种间的系统发生关系,并结合欧美等其他地区的材料与分子数据,构建了一个更全面、更科学、更自然的粉褶蕈分类系统。主要结果如下:.1)本项目针对我国12个省份的粉褶蕈进行了大量的资源调查与形态分类学研究,共获得400多份标本,鉴定并描述了30个种,其中包括5个新记录种和5个新种。.2)获得了ITS, LSU, RPB2 和 mtSSU 等 4个系统发育常用的基因序列450条,基于这些片段重新构建了粉褶蕈科和粉褶蕈属的系统发育树,证明了粉褶蕈科的种类是一个单系的类群,明确了粉褶蕈科和粉褶蕈属下多数种类的分类地位,建立了较为系统的粉褶蕈分类系统。.3)根据形态学及分子系统学研究结果,建立了一个新亚属,即方孢亚属subgenus Cuboidosporum,包括了所有担孢子为方形的种类。.4)分子系统学研究结果表明:Pouzarella亚属下至少有两个组(section Dysthales和section Pouzarella)的界定还值得商榷;该类群没有明显的生物地理分区模式。.本项目研究初步揭示了中国粉褶蕈科的物种多样性,对全面认识我国粉褶蕈属真菌和完善世界粉褶蕈分类系统具有重要意义。项目发表论文18篇,其中SCI论文17篇。
