垃圾的处理与利用

The present book Disposal and Utilization of waste will demonstrate the complex relationships between waste and earth’s environment to the readers. This book will consist of 13 chapters regarding three scientific problems, i.e., producing, influencing and recycling/disposal of waste. This book aims to introduce the state of art of environmental geology and geoenvironmental engineering vividly, completely and precisely. Furthermore, the up to date and the most comprehensive concepts of environmental protection, economic opinions and legal thoughts regarding the disposal of waste will be introduced. Based on the explanation of the relationship between waste and resource, the relationship between waste and social economy and the basic thoughts on the disposal of waste, this book will focus on the discussions of recycling and reclamation of waste, the function of modern sanitary landfills and the disposal of particular waste. The concept of a society with no waste will be finally proposed. The publication of the present book will be able to fill in gaps in the popularization of science books on waste recycling and disposal since 1990s in China. The objective of the present book is to spread the scientific knowledge and scientific spirit. By doing so, the book aims to draw the attention and interest of the society to the environmental science and waste disposal and attract the distinguished young people to devote themselves to this field. The publication of the book will make a significant contribution to the improvement of environmental awareness and social responsibility of the citizens in China.

本书《垃圾的处理与利用》向广大读者阐述垃圾与我们生活的地球环境的复杂关系。本书主要围绕垃圾的产生、垃圾的影响和垃圾的回收处理三个核心问题组织了13章内容，旨在向读者生动、完整、准确地展示环境地质学与环境岩土工程等学科最新的科学进展，介绍最新、最周全的垃圾治理的环保理念、经济观点及法治思想。在介绍垃圾与资源的关系、垃圾与社会经济的关系以及治理垃圾基本思想的基础上，本书着重探讨垃圾的回收与再利用、现代卫生填埋场的作用以及特种垃圾的治理等诸多问题，最终提出了“无垃圾社会”的构想。本书的撰写能填补自上世纪90年代以来我国在垃圾回收与处理方面科普书籍的空白，以期能在向社会传播科学知识、科学精神的基础上，吸引社会对环境科学和垃圾处理问题的关注和兴趣，吸引优秀的青少年投身于这一领域，为提高我国公民的环境保护意识和社会责任心贡献力量。

本课题顺利完成了科普读物《垃圾的处理与利用》书稿的创作编著工作，形成了33万余字的书稿，并配以600余幅配图和表格，用多种创作手法向读者阐释了科学知识，完成了创作目标。基于“以人为本，一切从读者出发”的基本创作观，立足于本课题组长期教学、科研的经验积累，《垃圾的处理与利用》从多个角度由浅入深地向广大读者阐述了垃圾与人们的生活以及与地球环境的复杂关系。本书主要围绕垃圾的产生、影响和回收处理三个核心问题组织了10章内容，分别介绍了垃圾问题的危害、垃圾的来源、垃圾的分类、垃圾的收运、垃圾的回收再利用、垃圾的焚烧、垃圾的填埋、特种垃圾、垃圾与经济社会的关系、垃圾与地球的关系共10个话题。本书向读者生动、完整、准确地展示了读者在生活中容易忽视垃圾问题的严峻性，向读者传达了科学解决垃圾问题的正确思想，着重阐述了环境地质学与环境岩土工程等学科最新的科学进展，全面、详实、准确地向读者展示了目前主流的垃圾回收再利用、焚烧、填埋等专业科技知识，并介绍了最新、最全的垃圾治理的环保理念、经济观点及法治思想。在充分介绍垃圾与资源的关系、垃圾与社会经济的关系以及治理垃圾基本思想的基础上，本书着重探讨垃圾的回收与再利用、现代卫生填埋场的作用以及特种垃圾的治理等诸多问题，最终提出了“无垃圾社会”的构想。本书的撰写填补了自上世纪90年代以来我国在垃圾回收与处理方面科普书籍的空白，以期能在向社会传播科学知识、科学精神的基础上，吸引社会对环境科学和垃圾处理问题的关注和兴趣，吸引优秀的青少年投身于这一领域，为提高我国公民的环境保护意识和社会责任心贡献力量。
