Poultry has well-developed visual system and is sensitive to spectral conditions. It has been reported that pure-green light emitting diode (LED) light stimulated broiler growth at early age,whereas pure-blue LED light stimulated broiler growth at later age.Although further study found that shifting broiler to a different light environment might further stimulate broiler growth, this method increased costs of replacement of LED lights.Our previous study suggested that by combining green and blue LED on one lighting fixture can stimulate the broiler growth, meanwhile the replacing costs are not increased. However, the pure-LED spectra are very rich and impose various biological effects on broiler growth, which results that the combined-LED spectra which are formed by pure-LED spectra are more rich and biology effective. Mowever, the fundamental issues about the mpacting mechanism, control method and effectiveness evaluation of combined-LED spectra in intensive broiler production are very limted.Accordingly, in this project, we are aming to solve the problem. In our previous published studies, we have tested the impacts of pure-LED spectra (red, yellow, green, blue, and warm-white), intensity and uniformity on ‘Meihuang’ yellow broiler restricted in two size cages completely exposed under pure-LED spectra. We found the short-wavelength LED spectra (yellow, green and blue) are good for the broiler growth. Especially, the yellow LED spectra has both shown the best performance while its advantages in two type cages vary a lot. Further, we confirmed that combinations of green and blue LED spectra could improve the productive performance of broiler. Therefore, in this project, first, based on our previous published study about the LED spectra , we further to optimize broiler growth by combining various pure-LED spectra. Second, based on our previous published study about the LED light period, we further to optimize the behavior monitoring device to obtain the rest and feed pattern of the broiler exposed to various LED light period. Third, based on our previous published study about the LED light intensity, we further to optimize the broiler growth by two-factor test of light field intensity mean and evenness of single LED light. Finally, based on the the biological effects of pure-and combined-LED light on the broiler, we will develop a series of models to describe the basic characteristics of LED lamp arrays with various beam angle and light intensity uniformity. Thus, we can obtain the comprehensive effective relationship between the broiler and the LED array light field fabricateed by combined-LED spectra. Our achievements about the mpacting mechanism, control method and effectiveness evaluation of combined-LED spectra in intensive broiler production have independent intellectual property rights, which will help the development of healthy poultry production as well as LED technology.

鸡对光环境高度敏感,LED原态光谱丰富,效能各异,不同养殖期使用不同光谱可提升生物效能,但更换需增加成本,多种光谱同灯组合重构是有效途径,迫切需要探明重构光谱的作用机理、调控机制与综合效能等基础问题。项目将以充分预研的我国优质黄羽肉鸡为对象,系统研究典型原态光谱及重构光谱对鸡只的作用机理与生物效能,获取最优重构光谱;探明重构光谱均匀光场中鸡只采食饮水规律及进入同等暗区的休息规律,获取单段持续或多段间歇光周期最优调控策略;制作发光角度不同、光强均匀度不同的多种LED灯并构建单灯非均匀光场,获取基于肉鸡行为及生长特性的光强均值与均匀度最优调控策略;构建规模阵列光场表征模型与验证系统,优化形成重构光谱规模阵列光场综合效能最优的集成调控机制。项目将在LED重构光谱的作用机理、调控机制与效能评价等方面取得具有自主知识产权的创新成果,对我国家禽养殖业与LED产业的协同创新有重要理论意义与应用价值。

鸡对光环境高度敏感,LED原态光谱丰富,效能各异,不同养殖期使用不同光谱可提升生物效能,但更换需增加成本,多种光谱同灯组合重构是有效途径,迫切需要探明重构光谱的作用机理、调控机制与综合效能等基础问题。项目以充分预研的我国优质黄羽肉鸡为对象,系统研究了典型原态光谱对鸡只的作用机理与生物效能,筛选获得优势光谱并进行了优化配比,获得了重构光谱;探明了均匀光场下光周期与光照强度对鸡只行为、生长与生理的影响规律,获取了单段持续光周期与光照强度的最优调控策略;并获取了非均匀LED光场下肉鸡的行为及生长特性,为料线与水线布置提供了理论依据。项目在LED重构光谱的作用机理、调控机制与效能评价等方面取得了具有自主知识产权的创新成果,对我国家禽养殖业与LED产业的协同创新有重要理论意义与应用价值。
