The mathematical model for analyzing and calculating available transfer capability between areas of interconnected power system in the electricity market is established in this project and the problem of determining available transfer.capability is fully and systematically depicted. Based on the uniform network-oriented database , utilizing modern IT and following.the open design principle, the software system accomplishing the task above is developed and realized which has been applied in practical power system planning and operation successfully.
