This project investigated the fundamental issues and key techniques of product modeling for concurrent engineering. The main research results that have been achieved include: · An integrated multi-domain feature model is proposed, which can effectively support concurrent engineering,· An approach to feature validity maintenance based on local feature recognition is proposed. The approach is of intelligence and easy to be incorporated with commercial CAD systems,· An new approach to persistent naming of topological elements is proposed. The main advantage of the approach is that the identified topological elements are more reasonable in respect to the design intent,· An approach to multi-domain feature modeling based on local feature recognition is proposed. The approach is of generality、high-efficiency and simplicity, · An approach to automated determination of optimal adjustment upon design feature model according to the modification requested by manufacturing engineers is proposed,· A hierarchical representation of tolerance based on features is proposed, which can represent the tolerance semantics and enable the integration of tolerance information with multi-domain feature model,· An approach to incremental manufacturing evaluation for concurrent engineering is proposed, which enables the integration of multi-domain feature modeling with manufacturing evaluation for concurrent engineering,· A prototype system of multi-domain feature modeling for concurrent engineering is developed..14 papers presenting above research results have been published in journals and international conferences. Among them, 5 papers are embodied by EI Compendex. Moreover, some of them has been cited by other researchers. The project is of significance for solving the problem that the current CAD systems are not able to effectively support concurrent engineering.
本项目研究面向并行工程的产品建模方法,包括研究集成的产品多领域模型,能够同时支持特征设计和特征识别的库特征表示,能够并行建立产品多领域模型的混合特征建模方法,产品多领域模型的有效性和一致性维护方法等。本项研究对显著提高现有产品建模技术的功能使其能够有效地支持并行工程具有重要意义,对在我国顺利实施并行工程将起到积极作用。
